You will be required to take a timed online assessment for 45 minutes.
Your performance will determine if you will proceed to training or not.
If successful, you will be required to proceed to self paced training. There will be quizzes (we had 4 last year).
Your performance in the quiz will determine if you will proceed to uploading your business plan. If shortlisted after business plan submission, you will proceed to pitching which is a short video of what your business is all about.
Finally if you scale through the pitch, you will proceed to receiving the grant

Lol, I swear I was about to add in my previous post that you should have made your restaurant a pure online business.

Last year, I applied with a crypto based idea, when I got placed in disruptor category though, I switched to paint manufacturing. Omo, those materials were intense. Learnt a lot too. It felt good working with a proper organisation.

This year, I will be applying with a virtual pot of gold game.

I think the training materials will be same. It will be like a refresher course. Let me see if I can make my lowest score in the tests 90% - for fun.

I think the fact that it is available to all African countries sort of limits the number of persons that can win it in any particular country.

A friend of mine won during the first edition. He helped his sister apply during the second edition and she also won.
I was selected last year but I was dropped because I wasn't serious with the training. I've applied again this morning and I got an email that I was selected to move to the second stage. I'll make sure to be serious this year
