Well, there were two occasions for me. The first occasion was a Turkish lady in Turkey. So I speak Turkish and Turkish people, especially the ladies really love how I speak in Turkish, because I somehow have adopted a rather funny logic of expressing my self in Turkish. It's very evident when I am trying to flirt with ladies so they can't help laughing uncontrollably.

So there was this lady, really beautiful I wouldn't lie, she was tall, her hair was in-between blonde and brown (auburn), she was tall about 1.78M, full figured- like she was really curvy but not chubby, she had greenish grey eyes, and was very soft spoken... bottom line, this girl was fyyyyyne! and here's the thing, she was my colleague at school, but she was soooo head over heels for me. She loved me like mad, just like the movies grin, she would literally become a cat when she was around me, like rubbing all over me and being extra touchy, she would cook for me at her house and bring it to me at the slightest chance when we met, mheeeen she didn't give me breathing space when I was with her, and anything I said would send her into a fit of wild laughter.

Normally I liked the girl too because like I explained she was super hawwwt, however, I also noticed how the locals used to look at me each time I was with her and I heard some very envious side comments. On some occasions I was sternly questioned if I was dating her.
In all this, I was genuinely worried about my safety, because if her people understood she was with me, it was a potential double whammy for my case;
1- I am African
2- I am Christian
Omo I respected myself and just started avoiding her as much as possible because I didn't want any trouble of that sort. I literally changed my location because of her just so that I would be out of sight and out of mind, before wahala blew out. It worked... but she resented my guts to the last cell when I suddenly relocated.

The second lady coincidentally was still Turkish, but this was in Germany, she was a German/Turkish lady. Once again my way of speaking Turkish just gets em grin, although this lady was not as gorgeous as the first one, but she was still beautiful regardless.
Now I wasn't even interested in this lady even though we had very interesting conversations, but this lady "man marked" me mheeeen, hers was even borderline creepy, because she literally became a client where I worked at, just so she could see me when I went to work. Once again I wasn't interested because I couldn't deal with the drama (although in Germany the dating emphasis of Turkish people on race and religion is much lower) but my first experience left a sour taste, so I avoided her completely.

I felt sad for these ladies, because they genuinely loved me, but they couldn't just understand why I literally avoided them.

I'm actually in the middle of that drama now. There's this Christian girl (celestial) to be precise. We started dating last year and I stayed dating her because of boredom but before you know it i started living the girl for real. I later introduced her to my mum and she liked her but all of a sudden she dislikes her. And I'm finding it difficult to leave the girl. She even cooked noodles for me yesterday at my place. Religion is doing more of disunity to us here in Nigeria
You said your mum liked her but all of a sudden she started disliking her. If she knew her religion before and she just started disliking her all of a sudden, then her religion might not be the problem, try to find out what is really going on.
