IDENNAA:It's still not an excuse to support rewarding mediocrity over excellent performances. In corporate world people with excellent/decent KPIs, metrics and perform well get rewarded. Nwakali hasn't been decent or excellent this season but it's Nigeria so I'm not surprised. 5 Likes |

jihday:He thinks it's only players born in Nigeria that have it hard, forgetting that the players themselves need to put in the needed effort to make it/progress. His brother Chidiebere is currently without a team for a year now despite showing much promise. |

Karlovych: Soccer is quite uniqu when compared to the corporate fields; there is a situation that brought about Nwakali's inclusion. We need a proper midfield controller , which we lacked and was hurting us badly. Making comparisons is out of question. You could argue he has not been impressive but saying he has not been decent is not proven , because he plays most of Huesca games. Finally , who would you take if Nwakali is dropped ? |

jihday:That's not even the issue,Aribo and Nwakili are two young Nigerians that we should all be proud of but presently one is doing great while the other one is pushing harder to have his career back and good for this opportunity coming up,Nwakili can come good. Aribo was a university drop out, from non league player to a national team player is something great. He earned it not that he lobbied for it,a debut against Brazil with a goal and followed it up with a goal against Ukraine. Fact,Nwakili has Aribo to displace and Aribo need to raise his game to put Nwakili on the bench not forgetting experience Alex Iwobi. 8 Likes |

charlesemeka85: Its indeed so shameful. So shameful and pathetic we are now celebrating Mediocrity in Nigeria. I watched Replay of Nigeria vs Cameroon 2004 AFCON QF and I was shaking my Head. Kanu's decisive pass to Utaka sealed the win. Ozaze was on fire, Okocha was at his best, Seyi was rocky, even Yobo was solid. Mike Era was last time we could call a Team super as far as Eagles are concerned. None of our Players is playing for a top Team, yet we keep calling them WORLD CLASS. Senegal GK is Chelsea No. 1 (UCL Champion).... our own No. 1 GK just signed for a relegation battling Club - Watford. We waste so many pages because of exclusion of Dennis like he's our new Rashidi Yekini or Jay Jay. Someone that has never had an outstanding performance for the Eagles. Everything is wrong with the Fans and the NFF at the moment. 9 Likes |

IDENNAA:Sadiq Umar like Nwakali struggled earlier in his career at Roma and Rangers, went to Serbia where he performed and now at Almeria where he has been one of the best players in the league and for his team. The same can't be said about Nwakali he is neither one of the best players in his team or in the league. As much as I'm not a big fan of second division football at least Umar made a case for himself. All this your talk of proper midfield controller in nonsense because all forms of the current midfielders we have CM,AM,DM all have more goal contribution than him in a much more tougher and better league 6 Likes 2 Shares |

komekn:I just dont understand him He writes like someone who is angry and bitter with life. Kog45: So , brother , you think Nwakali and Aribo had the same struggle ? A boy who waa born and raised in a first world England with all the government social programs for indigent families , security and regard for human life is being compared to another from a third world country where one senator pockets a salary that could feed a whole village! This sort of mentality is hurtful to all the children suffering because of wickedness of their leaders. Aribo dropped out of college because he has no interest in university education not because his parents could not npay his fees or the government could not provide financial aid....you must not defend nonsense just to winargument. |

TheGoodJoe: Good to know Mr..Goodjoe You're someone i respect here Pls you see that Nwakali just see him as prospect and dont join the bandwagon promote mediocrity... The way you guys were dancing all over the thread last night as if it was prime Zidane playing One even categorise his play as sexy bla bla Sexy play and passes that didn't birth any goal And now one from your contingents is saying Nwakali is better than Aribo It is neusating 5 Likes |

IDENNAA: How about compare your nwakali with Ndidi/Oshimen/Nacho/Awaziem etc who had similiar struggles U need to come to terms that the reason for your Nwakali stunted growth is not because he was born and groomed in Nigeria but because he is simply lazy and refuse to take his chances You think it is easy in europe too That's why i doubt if you truly reside in America 8 Likes

Karlovych: You cant pick and chose your items of comparison: aside Sadiq Umar there were other players who haven't made it yet. Obinna Nwobodo invitation was clamored for while he was still at Denmark , Michael Kingsley is still struggling and many others. So , give us the full dose and not pick what suits your bias opinion. You kept making comparisons which makes you to lose the crux of the argument , which is that we need a proper midfield controller. Stop making comparisons and suggest who will replace Nwakali if you drop him. |

humility33:Yes he is pushing harder...not getting it right does not mean he is not working, possibly Afcon can be a major turning point but depends on what Aribo and Iwobi brings to the table. |

Karlovych: You give me headaches; if your midfielders were up to par and you were playing beautiful football why then did Rohr got sacked! Why the wailings and frustration after every SE match with these your world class midfielders ? Do you have bad memory or what ? The team could not play simple passes with your world class players of Iwobi, Ndid , Aribo etc |

This is beginning to sound like fear to me. Fear of Nwakali; that he will show up and embarrass his detractors. If you are so confident of your Ndidi -Aribo-Iwobi world class qualities why the panic at the mention of Nwakali. |
