Does anyone know about Truman State university?
Is it a good school or a red flag school?
Also has there been anyone admitted for fall semester?

Hello I was recently denied an f1 visa to a community college in December last year, I believe due to funding Cos I wasn’t prepared for the question of what my sponsor does and his business here i stammered and wasn’t confident . I decided to start classes fully online at the community college till my next interview date which is in October 2022, will this increase my chances of getting the visa since it shows I have paid the fees for the first year and it also shows I am serious with the school?

Find someone else who is directly related to you. Your brother inlaw being your sponsor is a red flag.
Oziomaobj:
Am new on this thread. I have read many of the posts. Please my question is should my brother in-law be my sponsor? Though I will be a co-sponsor. Is it a RED FLAG!
Thank you all for your responses.

How did he pay it? If it was a check sent by mail, the reason for the delay might be cause of the holiday.

Seems you're kinda new to this forum, now a quick one, what is your highest academic qualification and what is your age? Paying fees and Starting online doesn't change anything, it is even adviced that you don't pay anything until your visa is approved, secondly if your program can be completed online and VO gets to know by any means it doesn't help your case

Pls kindly Answer my question as related to the questions you ask above. My highest qualification HND (2016) and I am 39yrs old. I'm a federal government employee. What are my chances in US university?

Hello. Personally I don't think your age matters. First things first is to evaluate your HND certificate with WES to get the BSc equivalent. Depending on your choice of course, you may need to write GRE or GMAT. Go online and search for schools in USA that offer your course, check out their requirements, then send a mail to them to confirm if there are funding opportunities and ask for clarification on any issue you may have. When you've gathered everything, send out your applications and wait for the decision.

@Svelte98 have said it all, just evaluate your OND & HND with WES and go for Ms/PhD admission, preferably something related to your HND or current work experience, forget about the age thing provided you're not going for another undergrad you're good to go

Hello everyone,

I am a bit new on this thread but i have been reading and will appreciate it if i can get the help i need. A little back story:

I am 34 years old, i have an MSc in Business from a UK university (2011) and a Bachelors from a University in Nigeria. I am married with 3 kids( 2 of which are US citizens) and i am currently working for a DFI here in Lagos and i have a thriving business by the side.
I intend to pursue my plans for an MBA and hopefully would love to go with my whole family by Gods grace or at least eventually take them with me. Now to my Questions:
1. Can i get recommendations for schools that offer MBA programmes preferably with scholarship options
2. What are my chances and what steps do i need to take( I have most of the required documents i think my concern is when it comes to the visa application
3. Is it possible to get the F1 visa and also secure the F2 for my spouse and 1 child ( since the remaining 2 of them are citizens they dont need)

I apologise to anyone in advance please dont be offended sometimes we just need someone to guide us.. thank you
