Adekdammy: Dont mind him. And even that CP that was deployed to Lagos, from Rivers, by the Jonathan Administration just before the election in 2015 and he said he has ordered his men to shoot Lagosians at will.... Today, no one even remember his useless name, he is confined to the dustbin of history. Power is transient, but these CP's cant get that simple fact into their brain. 2 Likes 1 Share |

festacman: Typical show of power by the Nigeria police, why were the second sect of security guard that replaced the former also arrested? You must have close ties with a police officer cos obviously your points raised are not well balanced 1 Like 1 Share |

JohnBullMySon: Let's get some things right, it's individual building that are private property, the estate roads, electric infrastructure are property of the state, that automatically gives security agent the right to be accessed. Sometimes most of this security guards obey their paymasters as against constituted authority which isn't right. Also the CP should have temper down considering that he is dealing with members of the public who are Taxpayers and I guess that widow must have said something to infuriate the CP that's why he must have locked her and kids up which obviously isn't right. 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon:You lied about the bolder. Perhaps you don’t know the said Estate. The Lagos fix all the infrastructures in the estate (roads, drainages and lights) therefore it’s not a private property. As far as Lagos state is concerned, the CP can go into any Estates without any prior notifications. |

getemail: It is a Private Property, in as much as it is not a Public Property! You seem to be mixing up an "individual" property, with "private" property! Individuals can own Private Property and when in large numbers, it is still a Private Property held by many individuals. And the fact that they have an "Association of Residents", makes it even more a Collective private property. Compare that to a property owned by the Govt, on behalf of the PUBLIC, (Police Station, Ministries, Ports, etc). CP cannot claim any Right when on Social visit to a Private Estate and he should be ashamed of claiming "embarrassment", using his official position on a Social trip for an owambe party. 1 Like |

iokpebholo: If you live in Lagos, you would know the atrocities these police officers commit In Lagos, especially on posh estates these days, breaking into houses and making illegal arrests without warrants. They are all spies and criminals so the estates understand them and now tightening their securities for the safety of their rich tenants. Who no go like live for this kind of Estates. |

DelTel: The situation is a simple situation. If the estate is a public property, it wouldn't even need a private security. There's a private security only because it's a private property. The CP erred. |

JohnBullMySon:Ur arguments are all twisted. Ask rock is a grade A security federal Zone. Its not the same as a private estate. In Addition. All roads in any estate are local government property. Meaning the police can enter freely. Infact magodo estate has a police station inside if am not mistaken. DSS is not the police. They are secret and do not have all the rights police has. Preventing the CP from entering was WRONG. If they don’t believe then let d estate take Odomusu to court. Wot were dey begging for?? 1 Like |

DelTel: You are exactly what you were called: IGNORANT! Just read yourself Once you are granted a C/O, the land becomes a Private Estate, even if it is for that 100yrs. Govt or its Agent like the Police, needs a Search/arrest warrant to enter forcefully. But CP was not even on an official visit, he came for Socialising at an owambe party, when then is he flaunting power recklessly? Too many Nigerians like you are so ignorant of your Rights, that the abnormal, abusive behaviour of these Govt Officials have become normalised in your senses and you are allowing them to legalize it. CP "Feeling embarrassed" is not an offense codified in Nigerian Laws, so he arrested those people illegally and should be sanctioned for it. 1 Like |

DelTel: You really need to go to School, Mr. Man, stop embarassing yourself publicly, like Mr. CP You dont understand the context of the use of the word "Private"! Contracting "Private Security" to assist in securing a place like a Stadium is different calling a place like an agglomeration of Houses a "Private Estate". One is a Verb, while the other is a Noun. That is my contribution to your Free Education! |

Daboomb:C of O actually means the land belongs to d government and u just a tenant on d land and dat u will be required to pay tenement rate going forward yearly. The police does not need Warrant to enter any property. They only need a warrant to SEARCH a property. They can enter and not search. If d estate believe d CP arrest was illegal, I dare dem to go to court 2 Likes |
