I pray Transcorp gives at least 5 kobo dividend this year if not 10 kobo. The only way they can grow is to have a good dividend policy of about 50% of shareholder earnings to be paid as dividends yearly. 2 Likes |

I imagine myself, if I have doubled my investment . Will I have the time to visit forums that I don’t like and be taunting them? Won’t I be focused on the economy and market that’s doubling my profit and trying to find ways to maximize and perhaps triple the profit My brother leave story for tortoise Person that is doubling his money has no time for taunting. posty56: 10 Likes 1 Share |

posty56:Every one has his investment philosophy For some of us, we are just buying assets that produce cashflow for us (dividend paying stocks) while sometimes cashing in on periodic capital appreciation I personally made double my money on stocks I bought between 2020 and 2021. So it's not a totally bad market if you ask me 6 Likes |

posty56: Everyone here is a millionaire in naira for sure but millionaires in dollars Mehn am not sure That’s at least over 500 mil naira cash asset/investments (not asset that one cannot evaluate) If you have that kind of money. You will be waking and sleeping with NYSE ringing bell and your fund manager will be your only phone contact You my friend are no dollar millionaire At that level the reasoning and argument is different if you have time to argue at all Tax reduction and money doubling in the shortest amount of time will be your greatest priorities 5 Likes |

RodgersAkpafu:I pick dividend stocks that pays monthly , P. S,:- Higher yield don't mean sh*t , I have seen stocks in the U. S stock market that produces 53% yield, but I avoid them, most of those stocks are risky, it's all about how much you put not how it yields. |

posty56:Is good you mentioned 'your money'.That means what I do with it is not your business as I did not borrow from you neither did you helped me to earn it.And is not your family money.likewise I don't give a rat ass what you do with yours.Next time voice your opinion without foul words that was the only reason I responded to your post. As you feel you are doing great by doubling another is feeling great by doing something different |

We see some gentlemen and ladies come here quietly and drop picks, opinion and analysis without cajoling anyone to follow their advice or try to berate anyone for not accepting their views. We really appreciate them even though sometimes we say nothing or do not say enough. Once someone start trying to berate anyone for not taking his advice or accepting his views then to me it means that person has more stake in what s/he is trying to cajole you to do. It will benefit him/her more. I get sceptical of them and their aim. They try to convince you that some things are for your benefit when in fact they are actually the only one that will benefit from such. 9 Likes |

You should’nt have bothered with this. Ofcourse there are millionaires in dollars here. My objective was to tackle that my new friend. I wasn’t using facts or discussing stocks just pulling his legs. You must have seen that from the jovial way the conversation went This is a stocks forum. That was just an ice breaker discussion. How do they say comic relief. It was a fun moment lets not drag it out Ades1: |
