It's a new year and the holidays are over, visa officers on the thread can rest now because the real visa officers are back to work today.
I hope we all that have been waiting get our passports with visas in them this new week by God's grace.
The wait to renew a standard visitor's visa has been nothing but tiring plus frustrating. 47 working days here!

Greetings Debbieeeeee and gurus in the house,
I got a message from a travel consultant that all Visiting visa applications from Nigeria are being processed in India right now, hence the delay.
How true is this information pleaseeeee?

As of June yes India, other months I am unsure of where they are being processed but there has been a general delay in processing visa applications most especially September and October applications.

Good morning all.

Guys, please I need your help
I received TLS mail for document collection on 29th of December but I'm not around for the pick up and didn't apply for return by courier during my biometric then. Have been sending TLS mails on how to pay for the courier service since then but no reply. So I need your help/links to apply for courier delivery or is post-biometric courier service payment not possible?

Send someone there with authorization to collect. Let the person go with your slip

I believe you will not be banned because it is more than ten years ago.

I once had a UK visa refusal many years ago and I applied again after 14 years and got the visa, though I stated in that application that I had a previous refusal but all the other applications that I made for UK visa renewal, I always tick no to the question, have I ever been refused visa to the uk because it is more than ten years ago and I have always got the visas.

Same number of days with my mum. Sent paid emails like 4 times. Sending another one again today. I think there is a General problem with October applications

Btw is there any September applicant here?

Hi there, please would TLS permit someone else to pick my Visa (on my behalf)?

I’ve sent countless emails to them and still same story, I’ll give them today as per resumption and continue to bug them tomorrow.

Try to reach TLS to give you the courier option , keep sending them emails. The response may have been delayed due to holidays
