The truth of the matter be say most riders are not happy with BOLT. I have met so many of them telling me Bolt is ripping them off with Surge. I tried to explain to them that it was due to demand prices went up, they refused to understand, so what most of them do is to give 1 star at the end of the trip regardless of driver being nice or not
I won't be mean, but they won't deserve it again. Like someone stated.... It's all about the money.

What we are disagreeing on is whether Magodo Brooks is a private estate or public property. And whether the CP was there as a Police man or a guest at a party. So let's agree to disagree that he needs to follow the protocol if he is in mufty on a social visit to a private property. But shouldn't be blocked if he is on police duty whether to a private or public property. I think we are good on that.

The CP doesn't wield infinite powers like some people want us to believe. He is a law enforcement officer, a Police man and should operate within the bracket the law provides.

A lot people just want to sound woke by saying stuffs like "tyranny", " rule of law", etc. Many have forgotten these estates are subsets of a larger society whose laws supersedes whatever internal laws the estates make for themselves. Lots of people have been yelling about the CP obeying the "law of the estate"... The CP is a federal law officer whose mandate grants him access to places on identification of his person. The roads in these estates are public roads you as an ordinary citizen should ordinarily be able to gain access to. It is only into a personal residence you need to be granted access or a warrant. But these estates cordon off entire roads and you people are here talking about " the estate rules". It is because the rich have so oppressed the poor that even the poor think most of these practices are right.

Don’t Enter 2022 without Knowing the Difference between a Customer and a Consumer: The end goal of every business is to make sales. You can supercharge your sales by understanding the difference between your customer and consumer. There’s so much noise between what a customer and customer is, it’s easy to think they the same thing. But they aren’t, so let’s look at the difference.

Customer Vs Consumer
Understanding the difference between a customer and a consumer can be tricky from the onset, but we’ll look at the two separately and find a defining factor that sets them apart.

My meaning...
As far as this uber thread is concerned,
U are bolt agent, or ambassador ,apologist or staff.
Some see u as Uche sef.
It might change if u do give away. grin
I am watching mejai from the corner of our eyes.

Lolz... I will be in bolt office on Thursday in connection with a driver being involved in an accident during a trip and all Bolt can do is block d young man and ask him to go for inspection without even supporting him with hospital bills, I thought they said we are under insurance on every trip.

Guys, try and do compressive insurance on ur car, even if it's 1.5m value u put on ur car, premium will be less than 40k. It's worth it. Nobody is praying for or anticipating accident or damage but when it happens u will be covered.

Guy, I be military officer pikin o, even if u dey come baracks or any military formation and u r a General, and there is protocol at the gate, u will follow that protocol, except express entry has been prepared for u or they are aware of your coming. Then u identify urself and pass.
If CP was on official duty, escort would have gone ahead of him to clear way and get clearance for him.
Bottom line is he wasn't on official duty to that estate. He went as a guest to a party.
This is not a case of being on duty 247.

What are you saying? You be military officer pikin.
Look, i attended a military boarding school too. In the early 90s, when military was still in power.
Our commandant ( if you know the rank of a commandant) disrespected his superior, I don't want to share what the top brass in Lagos did to him.

Honour to whom honour is due....

Is magodo brooks the first estate, he will be visiting officially /unofficially for the past 3 years.? What will cause that unprofessional way of handling VIPs..

I'm glad the CP didn't let that kind of shit slide. Uttermost disdain for esprit de corps.

Thanks man. Car parked till I get a trusted hand.
I live in ladipo and know some people around. Just wanna be sure of the issue b4 repair. Had a cousin who replaced a gear last November, not knowing it was the brain box that was the issue. I appreciate your contribution.
stephenponti:

Steps you need to take.
1. Stop driving the car to minimise damage.

2. Take the car for a Scan for error codes

3. Make sure you get & copy the codes from him if there is any. search the code on YouTube

4. Locate a gear expert (I can recommend) to diagnose the gear, Usually they will tell you they can fix it just to part your money.

5. If the solenoid is bad its a simple solution to just change it, If the gear is burnt the burnt clutch can be changed, if the valve body is bad its always 50/50 to get a good one.

5. Price your gear in Ladipo before you pay for repair to repair is 50/50 to buy another gear is also 50/50 if you no shine your eyes wella.

In that case did you bought from him after wards, how long did you petronized him before you noticed the cracking sound on your engine? If it's more than twice or thrice then I don't think he deserves a second chance and you also need to tell us if after you called his attention to it weather you still bought oil from him/her and the difference you saw.

I have not bought from him since that incidence but I had been buying from him for a year before that incidence. If you've been buying something from someone for a year without issues, it's not fair to call out the person at the first sign of trouble. You give them another chance and that's what I did

For you to have recommended 20W50 from Mobil filling stations and then GAZZUZZ for synthetic it therefore means you've given up faith on all of these so call importers of motor oil due to your unfortunate experience and have stopped doing business with the fake oil importer.

Please don't get me wrong. I only recommended 20w50 if and only if you can't guarantee the source of Mobil 1. I have not lost hope on all importers of oil. As of today, there are only two people I can buy their oil namely dru23 and radautoworks. This is not to say every other oil seller apart from these two sell fake but someone they trust might be blindsiding them. While the same is still possible for the two I use, chances are much slimmer.

One thing we all should know is this, that a product is from the USA, UK or any other reputable overseas countries doesn't make it genuine or authentic o same way we have fake in Nigeria is same way we also have fake products over there the only thing is theirs is minimal.

I agree with this a hundred percent.

Going forward I still think you should mention that person let him come up and clear his name so it can serve as a lesson to anyone who thinks they can get rich quick by doing shady business or go scout free on every wrong doing but if you shade the person its therefore means you're supporting evil and keeping a blind eyes while seeing innocent people falling into a dish.

I will not be doing that and have given several reasons for that.

Chillex8 at some point called out dru23 for selling Castro to him that dried up after few days, many times here dru23 has also not failed to call out drivers who in the end we have seen are innocent so bro call that person out lets here from him.

I off My mic.

If oil dried in an engine in just a few days, there's only one explanation. Its either the engine is dead or the oil leaked away. I am less inclined to believe its the oil.

Hello everyone,

I need your assistance to enable me make a business decision. My brother approached me today to buy a car with which he could start uber business. My budget is between 1,5 and 1,8 million.

My intention is that he pays the money every week/month until I recover the purchase amount. The problem is that there's no way I could physically monitor his performances/activities. I would have to rely solely on what he tells me because we don't live in the same country.

Could you please give me suggestions as regards how profitable the business is, the pitfalls to avoid and how realistic it would be to recover my investment within a year or a little above that.

I'd really appreciate your inputs. Thanks for your time

Boss it all depend on how well you trust your brother. I'll advice you buy a toks corolla for him as that will enable him to work with less complain. Toks corolla can go as far as 2.4 to 2.6 (Just sayin). Paying that back at least will take 21 months if he pays 120k monthly.

Inbtw: ask your brother what he can afford to bring to the table, you still have registration to do. I like when I want to help someone and the person is responsible to some level.
