samorobo:Are we now safe to say, our rail system would be the longest elevated systems in Africa , since the system is 37km long , elevated and even longer than Nairobi highway It will have eight train stations from Agbado to Oyingbo, to be fully operational in the last quarter of the Year 2022. Red Line was to raise mass transportation capacity in the state by complementing the Blue Line that extends from Okokomaiko to Marina, and which is at 78 per cent completion at present, vowed to ensure that the Blue Line and the Red Line were completed to the memory of the late Governor Lateef Kayode Jakande. “The State’s Strategic Transport Master Plan, which encompasses a number of projects that are germane to achieving our vision for a Greater Lagos, is founded on imperatives that seek to increase transport choices for all users and make the transit system integrated, attractive, convenient, affordable and accessible,” he said. It will have six overpasses at strategic level crossing points along the rail corridor to facilitate smooth operations of the Red Line and eliminate interactions between the rail system, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, adding that the overpasses would provide grade-separated crossings that would enhance safety for the rail system and road users. “The unique characteristics of the Red Line is its integration with the Ikeja Bus Terminal, Oshodi- Abule Egba Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane, the future Orange Line, which goes from Ikeja to Agbowa, and the General Aviation Terminal One of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport through a skywalk. “Another unique feature of the Red Line is that all the stations have elevated concourses with either at grade island or side platforms for easy boarding and alighting of passengers. The Red Line also integrates with our Bus Terminals at Oyingbo, Yaba, Oshodi, Ikeja and Iju, giving modal options to our people in their daily commute, either for business or leisure 2 Likes |

Half of Nigerians live in slums -UNhttps://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/10/half-of-nigerians-live-in-slums-un/ GASSPPP!? Like us he actually assessed the real per capita GDP to half of accepted levels. P rofessor Falade who noted that a general overview of the existing housing situation painted a bleak and gloomy picture that is not well for Nigeria, added, that “the total population of Nigeria of 140 million is rapidly urbanising, with 49.8 per cent urban population while those living in rural are 50.2 per cent, and the majority of the people are not well housed”. Yes,a decade ago but 3 yrs after this you entered recession and still haven't escaped despite praying for oil price recovery and your economy is yet to diversify resembling Burundi or Niger so that figure is still accurate. Look at that CV! After completing his bachelor's degree in economics, Falae joined the civil service as the assistant secretary of the National Manpower Board. He later became a principal assistant secretary of the board. In 1971, he was transferred to the Central Planning office and by 1975, he was a director at the planning office. During his stint at the planning office, the department was actively involved producing the third national development plan for the country and conducting a revision exercise after a change in government.[6] In 1977, Falae was appointed permanent secretary (Economic dept), Cabinet office.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olu_Falae Edit: Naijjans, by now we know more than you about Naij, believe that.

Kazikazi:The Nigerian Agric sector is almost the size of Brazil in terms of GDP ( and rightfully so) but there is no data on ground that states that it is bigger than that of Brazil. Nigerians did not force the world to accept their GDP stats. If the IMF sees it as false, they would definitely bring their input to it and it would not be the first time they would have done so. Your mistake is that for you, GDP is based on what infrastructure a country has on ground. This may be true to some extent but not 100% true. Equatorial Guinea for instance have an active oil sector and because of this they have one of the highest GDP per capita in the continent but the country is not even as developed as Uganda or Zimbabwe. The truth is, their oil sector is working and the size of their economy is great but their leaders have not invested in infrastructure. 2 Likes |

South African airways is worse position than KQ. They have gone belly up. KQ has never stopped flying since 1963 - or 1978 when East African Ariline gave way to regional airlines. As for Tanzania - you're hopeless. KQ still own your precision air Kazikazi: |
