Most young Nigerians no longer believe in Nigeria because of its economic woes. At a time most Americans were so poor they couldn't afford nothing to eat. This during the great depression of the 1930s. Yet Americans didn't run away or curse their country

What's your point? We should celebrate the suffering or what?

Even at this state, America is better than Nigeria.

Where did you see any shop opened to give free Tea to unemployed citizens in Nigeria but up to this day, in US, Mc Donalds outlets still give out free coffee and doughnut.

At this stage, they had their citizens at heart not like us that look for means to take from people that don't have.

Seriously, researchers from ivy league schools need to come to Nigeria to study how we survive.

It not easy to be a Nigerian.

Do you what they did?
They did what all poor desperate people do, they went about stealing from others,..
Would be better if that's what Nigeria is doing at this point, but instead we're stealing from each other

Because quite simply, they had nowhere to run.

Europe was in an even worse state, and Canada was not doing well either, and the Soviet union was still a poor nation of largely broke peasants.(they were taking immigrants from the US and Europe...but skilled immigrants, not unskilled, with a bias for technical skills)

Eventually, the depression ended , roughly speaking, because industrial production went up, and because world war 2 wrecked European and Soviet industry to a point that it took decades for them to recover fully, leaving the USA as the sole super industrial power....craking up products for the world.

And Nigeria needs to be an industrial country, and your government who you are defending is doing nothing about it, which is why we are broke.

I'm not defending this government. It's just sad that most Nigerians think other countries never had it rough and have always had it easy and so have refused to build their own nation

But the depression was for a few years, and the American economy picked up

Nigeria has been in depression well over 30 years, with no hope in sight

At least there was a reason for them being like that..their stock market collapsed..and still they stood up on their feet..
Now compare and contrast.. Nigeria has all resources to get back but what is she doing about it..?after how many years Nigeria hasn't really changed..no difference..only getting worse on a daily basis..

So I fail to see your point..

Depression lasted from 1929 to 1941, maybe even as late as 1945....when the cash payments and benefits from supplying the UK, and USSR during world war 2 started coming in.

Also we are in depression for the same reason most of Africa is in depression, and the same reason your biafra would be in depression.(no insult, I'm just stating a fact, a harsh fact) We earn money from selling raw materials whose prices we do not set, instead of selling industrial consumer goods whose prices are set by their exporters.

because even at that stage of nothing to eat their leaders love them, encourage them with love not killing and hating them because they don't shear same language or religion

This nigeria system can't work and will never work.
Since regional system can't be adopted. Nigeria youth are creative and hardworking. The system is the one frustrating the youth. Those days after hard work you reap your labour but now you might still die poor.
A programmer will cry for nepa light because he's poor and trying his best to be someone.
An engineer might run into debt after procuring tools that are substandard china product.
An electronic company will end up changing the label design of their product to the ones from japan because government will frustrate them with tax and not still support them.
So IT guys might end up doing illegal lol

The great depression of America started getting better by 1933. Nigeria has steadily gotten worse for the last 40 years

If Nigeria will remain in depression as will Biafra, then theres no point to Nigeria

LMAO your type make me sick

Every country has problems but what makes Nigeria unique is that Nigeria is the only control that has refused to solve her problem

Restructure let each ethnic group control their security and police ...the once that are too small merge in their own accord
...yes we agree it's not a magic wand but it would make solving the problem a whole lot easier

But no because a certain ethnic groups are scared what what a certain ethnic group would become we rather die here ...

Instead of your likes to keep hamaring on the man issue u are here trying what I don't know
