Hello Mercyfoundme Truth be told, you didnt explain in details like you said , you just talked about how you got your funds from the sales of cars, you didn't really explain in details the lump sum in your application and how available the funds will be for your studies and living expenses cos they claim the lump sum in your account Is just for show off and that it won't be available. So what you wrote in the doc you attached didn't really address the Visa Officer's concerns on the lump sums, and this is because you were not patient enough to work with your Gcms notes.. But if you submitted the receipts of the several transactions made, that resulted to the lump sums amount, then that can fly... But you needed to have explained all these in your Letter of explanation i.e explaining the transactions made that resulted to each of the lump sum amounts.. If you wanna draft a quick LOE explaining in details the reason for each lump sum, you can do that with the hope that the Visa Officer isn't in the last stage ot your application.. And to the LOA, I didn't see in the pre-assesed notes of the Visa Officer where they requested for an updated LOA.. But since you said you saw it, you can send it to them via email to the office handling your application, to avoid any delay in them asking for it.. Submit your drafted LOE and your LOA and maybe some of your receipts to them, before a final decision is made on your application.. It will end in praise.. Peace Mercyfoundme05: 1 Like |

makano: Thank you for your reply Makano, I really appreciate you sir. I will draft a quick LOE and explain how those lump sum came about, although my bank statement is about 197 pages with so many large funds, I will also attach some receipts from vehicles sold. No, the VO did not request for an updated LOA, I said they noted it has expired. I am asking whether to upload the updated one I just got or wait until they request for it? |

Biodunoflagos: Hi Biodunoflagos, Go ahead and submit your visa application, you still have about 10months expiration left, but make sure you start the process of your new passport ASAP. once you get your new passport, you can send it through Webform or email to IRCC. If you reside in Lagos I can link you up with an officer and you will get your PP Immediately. Wait for gurus to throw more light. All the best. |

It’s not $41K. You’re mixing it up. It’s either $20K or $21K depending on the term you’re applying for… Harold4lyf: 4 Likes |

Do you have your transcript handy? Google list of Dli institutions in Canada, check under the province you need to apply to, you'll find list of colleges with pgwp you can apply to. If you're looking for a college with cheap tuition you can check Newbrunswick Community college and Holland college Prince Edward Island. You can also check Memorial University of Newfoundland. Best of luck. Princeofabia: 2 Likes |

Princeofabia: Your Response to the questions below would enable you to get a response on the type of PG.Cert program at a College you should go for - what did you studied in the university ? - what year did you graduate ? (to address study gap) - Do you have a job? If yes, what is the name of your Job, and what are your Job duties? (to know if your Job is related to your Degree) - How many years work experience do you have in that Job? - Is your Job related to what you studied in the University? 4 Likes |

Good morning house. I've been a silent reader, my question is: Can my brother who is in canada with his family and sponsoring his wife's education still sponsor me for study in canada? I intend going with my wife. I'm 38yrs old |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Frankrobbn1: 8:52am On Jan 07, 2022 |
bemyperson: Happy New Year my fellow Nairalanders! I'm glad to be in your midst this year again. To provide answer to your question, it doesn't appear reasonable for your brother who is resident in Canada to sponsor you and your wife. He already has his dependents in Canada which the visa officer is well-informed about and a simple background check on his immigration status would delcare same. My professional advice for you is that you (the husband) should fund your account and sponsor the trip to Canada. I wish you the very best. It will end in praise 6 Likes |

rosesanctus: You should have sent an email to the admission office before they close your application. I got an email too from NSCC first week of October that an agent provider will contact me within 3weeks, that was after I passed my portfolio requirement. When the 3weeks lap I jejely sent an email to NSCC that no one as contacted me through email or phone number. 1 Like |
