The thing self is beyond my comprehension o but after I drove out of that area to Skymall, Ajah I was able to go online.

It's Lakowe not ikorodu.

Both Uber and Bolt see that place as Ikorodu reason why one will get request from ikorodu each time you're around that axis. The annoying part is , rider will call and still ask you. "Where are you"? "Are you coming"?

Coming kill you diagrin

This your location, is it after lakowe Golf resort? If yes, omo you don move far o...
I learnt there is a road that links ajah-epe express to ikorodu,How true is it and - how motorable is this path?

Best advice to car owners that’s doing ehailing as full time in this January is…….

1. Park your car at home Tuesday to Friday
2. Hustle only Monday and weekends
3. Go to Coursera/udemy etc find a good course you can do that’ll develop your skill.
4. For people below 40yrs you can still apply for ui/ux or graphics designer at least be doing 4hrs a day and use this moment to eat well and rest well.
5. Whatever you’ve made in December, buy 50k worth of foodstuffs at home pay half of school fees and replan yourself on how to embark on new journey
6. Keep this in mind, ehailing is just to keep body and soul together. look for better things to do
7. Buhari has advised every youth to go into farming… so get connected to your friends in the village and plant maize/okra/tomatoes etc on large scales
8. Start something new (open a viewing center with budget of 200k to 300k if you get better location you can open a viewing center)
9. Game stations shop (buy 2 ps2 and 2 ps3 consoles, find a shop in a secondary school environment, buy uk used 20inchs tv 4 pieces with 250k you set up this and small generator) whatever you generate from here, save it.
10. Start looking for job
11. With weekends hustle you can be saving 30k
12-1000. Ehailing is just to keep body and soul

Have a great day ahead

Seems 2022 is a year of reality and eyes opener in this thread. Just few months ago some folks were advising people to resign their jobs to join the hustle.
If you wrote this in July they will say you are pessimistic and discouraging people.

We gather dey.
I’ve been attending a seminar since 3rd of Jan and I feel I’ve wasted all my time and energy driving up and down Lagos.
I discussed with a young chap fresh graduate and the guy was telling me how easy it is to make money online this days than doing yahoo yahoo. That a lot of legit jobs from home.

I tried one of them and made 32k in 2 days yet we were made to believe that there is no job out there.

No mind dem baba. One sure thing have noticed in our society is that - People dislike or oppose to your views when you're being FACTUAL. They'll rather applaud , when you're being economical with the Truth , whip up sentiments and stir up Controversies.
That's why, I hardly dish out advice. I'll rather opt for experiencing the task and then make informed Opinion...

Winter has come, everybody Dey write article on how to go start other side hustle. Some were advising us to go and park our cars at home due to recent Bolt fare slash and scarcity of ride request.

During festive period you guys were busy cashing out, Nobody remembered to write article or doing other side hustle grin.

Ghost advised we should work on Mondays and weekends only and use other days to do other hustle. BAAZ is saying to drive no dey hungry am again. He felt he has wasted his life driving. grin.

I am not against doing other side hustle. It’s multiple streams of income, but the truth of the matter is that in every business there is bullish and bearish period. You don’t expect the ehailing market to be bullish this period. January/February is usually not booming like other months. but if you re very experienced you can still make good money during this period. Strategy is the key.

Any business you cannot persevere and withstand the challenges that comes with it and succeed in a long run, when you try other business and when its challenges comes you would chicken out easily.

The problem with most of us is that we don’t set goals of what to achieve in this hustle. We wake up, hustle, make money and spend it as it comes believing tomorrow will take care of itself. We don’t save, we don’t invest. I have set a goal of #2million this year after all expenses. And by grace of God I will achieve it like the previous years.

Goals are essential to success. It gives you fulfillment when you attain it. my bank savings and investment is what keeps me going in this hustle. When I reach the pinnacle, I will quit.

This is the problem with you thinking there are no other good sources of income apart uber.

You dont have to spend money to make money off the Internet, your skills matter.
One guy here on NL posted about making money during the lock down which I made an average of 200 dols weekly not until it stopped dec 20.
Open up your mind when people tell you there are several good incomes apart from driving around lagos.

See my response to this guy, only him would understand what I meant by co-benefactor.

The major problem is GOALS how many people can vouch after hustling for 1 year straight to have savings of 300k It’s obvious not many.

My write is not about January/February alone. Is just for one whole career..

Before December, have been writing it here that we should have a plan B.

Bia what's ur problem, U are always looking for ways to attack me. If u have been following, recently I have been looking for other viable businesses to divest into.
All I am asking is how he did it, he should show me. But u r understanding my post in a different way cos of your bias.

U were making an average of $200 weekly and u stopped to come and be driving again. If I may ask why did u stop. All these internet things that don't have substance, structure, foundation and continuity. Is that what u will use to raise a family? Or are they also stop gap to hold body together pending...
Am just asking questions o...if it's sure and reliable then abeg show me road...I am humble enough to ask for direction.

I am a realist. I don't run after fantasies and I know no real clean money comes easily...either u pay d price before or u pay it after. Or its easy but involves alot of capital. Wisdom shall never depart you, brother.
I know all of you people are wise men with responsibilities. I mean, real men. And I learn different things here everytime I come here and read comments.
Me self I have a petty salary work that gives me little money to take care of some bills and other things to a restricted extent. When I see that guyman needs to do something with life and grow financially, I woke up to my senses and stared learning the indepth and core idea and link of where I work. Now I have gained all the knowledge of the business in where I work, saved some money and I have already done my business registration ( with CAC certification - a limited business).
I see that as a stepping stone but one thing is that this business needs some financial trigger if I want to start making sales and creating more awareness to people reachable. That's why I have not left where I work which the salary is penny (LOL). Though, I am a key player in the place I work.
And I've been doing small small market of my business, I make once-in-a-while sales which makes me understand that u still need money to market my business to as large people as possible.
This is the main reason I met some of my friends who are into Uber/bolt work. I was educated and encouraged but I still went online to do more research and which led me to how I found this very platform. I love this platform cos of the nature of men and discussions and tips, one will always learn here.
Now, where I'm going exactly - I have much interest in this Uber/Bolt cos I know that it will fetch me some money to help my business. My business is the main target, but it requires some money to push to create awareness which my salary job is not helping in that aspect (smiles). Exactly why I'm opting for bolt/Uber.
I'm at the stage of getting a driver's license. Once this is done, I will try and get a car for Rental/HP and start hustling, while my main business will be my partner as I do bolt/Uber.
This in essential means, doubling/trippling hustle is the best for a man in this country we are. If one has two or more sources of income, one should at least have rest of mind that if one is not doing well in particular period, the other will do. Cos there is season for every business.
January - February is the winter period for Uber/bolt as I learned here. These 2 months shouldn't be a yardstick to condemn Uber, cos I know that everyone here is aware that Uber/bolt gives good money (for the wise ones who know how to save).
If you one has another business/hustle link, good to go.
It's very very undeniable that one should not make Uber/bolt the only source of income. Ah, the person go hear am oh. grin
My comment is not an advice, I said make I involve myself in the conversation.
Much respect everyone.
