Good morning house.
Would need a guide on what to do after reading till my eyes burst. I study economics education on school after which work as a cashier and customer service

I don't even know where to start from ? Please someone should help me out
Thanks
Hello, Damsyangel23. You may be eligible for the Skilled Worker visa, which is for non-healthcare professionals. Check the gov.uk link on the first page to know if your job is eligible. If it is, then you can go to job sites like uk.indeed.com and search for job openings in your field/profession, or search on Google for other UK job sites, and apply for as many as you can. Cheers.

Hello house, I'd like to get a certificate in support Care for the elderly preferably online. Note, I'm already here on dependant Visa and I have an interview with an agency that promises to train me while I have work for them. I just want to be certified early so I can hopefully switch to a work visa.
Thank you.

Hello, Gistbite. Since you're already in the UK on dependant visa, your own case is different - half solved.cheesy

Hello Fam, please I understand that ielts Ukvi is the approved ielts for UK visa application.
Please for the carer and support Visa;

1: which of the ielts is recommended? Academic or General?

2: Please can someone help post the link to book the ielts Ukvi?

Thank you

Hello, Trinityconcept. BSc in Biochemistry would qualify you to register with the HCPC and be eligible for the HACW visa as a 'Clinical Scientist' ONLY if you've had sufficient years of clinical or laboratory experience. But if you've not had such, then check if you can qualify under the Skilled Worker visa instead. Cheers.

Guys, I can volunteer to start contacting Nursing agencies. I only need to walk into their office and let them know my Sisters and brothers are willing to work. They are DESPERATELY short staffed in the UK and all agencies are looking for workers but the oyibos are not answering them because they get monetary benefits that pays more than full time Care job.

I will need to set up some sort of consultation on LinkedIn and can start meeting the Care and Nursing agencies soon ( Or even the NHS directly)
I believe they will ask for your application and forward their interest and pre employment letter to the home office too.
Good luck to all of you.
All the Indians and Polish will get it if we don't act fast.
If you want me to contact them please show your interests below.
Well-done guys.

Good evening everyone
I have Bsc in Nutrition and Dietetics
I had applied for Dietetics Assistant jobs with some NHS trust and i landed two virtual interviews earlier last year but on both occasions i got unsuccessful mails from them after which i stopped applying.
I read somewhere online that no matter how hard i try, i can't be taken because NHS has to prove to the home office that nobody else can do the job in the UK before i can be issued certificate of sponsorship.
Please how true is this and what advice do you give..
Thanks

Okay no problem guys, its not a hard process.
The only issue is the powerful NHS only chase Nurses and Doctors up but for other health and Care workers , you definitely could do with a 3rd party personnel to chase the employers up .
Interestingly, the Care bosses have the power to recruit from Nigeria because they are registered with the commission but there is no way they know about you guys.

Although there's an agency like that already who deals with int'l recruitment mostly from South Africa called A24 group, you can also apply directly on their website but to be honest they are focused on recruiting South Africans. Meanwhile, I should be able to contact nursing agencies and Care homes and will let you guys know how it's going.

Most powerful Care organisations in the UK are Four Seasons Care, HC One, Avery Homes and Southern Cross.
These are no jokes and have up to 10,000 homes collectively.
If you find application portals you can apply but I will see what I can do about connecting Health professionals other than Nurses and Doctors.

Please tell me more about this training. And do you mean a total of 6 months?? Or do you do the job placement while training??
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by sandysilver: 4:19am On Jan 08, 2022
Is it LPTC?
Kaylaonah:

This might be the same training I'm going for, I just want to be sure because I've searched nairaland and I'm yet to see any other person that has done it

visa was refused because she applied with kids?? That can not be the only reason
Flakky95:
I will advise you to go alone and sponsor them later because I know someone whose visa was refused due to this factor. You can try your luck anyways, you might be favoured.

Yes, visitors visa

Hi, Sandysilver. Thanks for sharing this info. I'm a little confused about the aspect of candidates applying to go to the UK to meet employers. Would this be via a visitor visa or what? Thanks.

I am interested. Is it easy getting jobs when you apply from a foreign country? I have a friend that has been applying for close to 2months now. She has all the certifications. She said most companies wil be responsible for their employers and they like to deal directly with agencies. Please do you know any agency that helps with recruitment?

The link to the approved english test has been pasted for you already, anything aside these is not acceptable.

If you have a degree that was taught in English, evaluate with ecctis, then no need for ukvi ielts
