My brotherrrrrr, me I no go blame them ooh. You know how many people viewing this thread? Some unknown people, silent viewers, etc. Maybe the man is expecting interested people to PM him. If na you self found a hidden treasure, despite the fact that you want other people to succeed, you won't disclose it until you have fully bellefull. grin
The ones that might benefit are those that come to you directly, confidentially. Shey you get? I no blame the man oh. Even Uber/bolt drivers don't want plenty people to join the field, if you understand what I mean. grin
I'm having the feeling that the man is sharing the way to reliable people that come to his DM (I may be wrong though).
So na brain it all requires oh. Much respect.

Some things I read here sha, like year in year out we just like to rotate around a fixed cycle. They use suffer do some of us here? Winter! Winter!! Are you people going to pick ghost? Gosh! Sorry to say this, like we are greedy out here. People spend a lot on transportation last month from intra to inter state, some are yet to recover or even have to wait for the month to end before they can breathe some air of freedom. The rest of this month is hand to mouth for them, some will even give first fruit, meaning... it will take next month for them to balance.

Last month some of you were making BTW 30 to 50k in a day. Abeg how much b people salary? But transportation is necessity, the system took advantage of that to reap them. Do you know what it means for someone to enter a ride from Yaba to Surulere for 5k? If you have problem balancing life and business, please stop taking the frustration out here. E hailing was never meant to peer anyone with Dangote, it should be an elevation stage in a man's life and if you felt you've reach the peak, biko! Move on.

An average driver should b able to do 80k per week. 80k per week regardless winter is not that bad, we survive thro d bad days and take advantage of the good days.

I have been doing indriver since God knows when and never partake in surge, had burial during December, even had accident last month, coupled with raising money for burial, house rent. Life ain't that bad, I'm still feeling myself. Beside I expect most of the cars to b in mech work shop after the stress. Please let's get over this undue winter noise. Any driver should have been aware of this by now. People will resume work on Monday and things would b a bit better. Go home and sleep, take a rest, and work hard when duty call.

Even tot of someone leaving on the mainland and works on island with salary of 300k or less and uber is their only mode of transportation. If they spend 5k daily on transport, that's 100k in a month. The better part of their salary goes to transport.

Boss why not 20k weekly, that way, there is a collector weekly. 200k every week., after 10 weeks, another cycle continues. Or same 50k monthly but 2 people collect weekly 250 weekly.

I picked no 10 last year.....that what I added to start a small car wash in my area....

Winter has come, everybody Dey write article on how to go start other side hustle. Some were advising us to go and park our cars at home due to recent Bolt fare slash and scarcity of ride request.

During festive period you guys were busy cashing out, Nobody remembered to write article or doing other side hustle grin.

Ghost advised we should work on Mondays and weekends only and use other days to do other hustle. BAAZ is saying to drive no dey hungry am again. He felt he has wasted his life driving. grin.

I am not against doing other side hustle. It’s multiple streams of income, but the truth of the matter is that in every business there is bullish and bearish period. You don’t expect the ehailing market to be bullish this period. January/February is usually not booming like other months. but if you re very experienced you can still make good money during this period. Strategy is the key.

Any business you cannot persevere and withstand the challenges that comes with it and succeed in a long run, when you try other business and when its challenges comes you would chicken out easily.

The problem with most of us is that we don’t set goals of what to achieve in this hustle. We wake up, hustle, make money and spend it as it comes believing tomorrow will take care of itself. We don’t save, we don’t invest. I have set a goal of #2million this year after all expenses. And by grace of God I will achieve it like the previous years.

Goals are essential to success. It gives you fulfillment when you attain it. my bank savings and investment is what keeps me going in this hustle. When I reach the pinnacle, I will quit.

I agree with you, all jobs have ups and downs.
I’ve never ruled out ehailing. As long as you have your own car it’s a good source of income but it’s not supposed to be a full time job.
I respect guys like you, Felicity001, pearl1910 and many others that have been driving for more than 3yrs consistently, and also guys that started from rentals/Hp to car owners I can’t imagine how they did it?
Ehailing is not for me, I’m just struggling to do it cos anytime I compare the effort and strength you put into it compared to the money it’s way too much. I use to say driving is my hubby but not with ehailing.
2Million target for the whole of the year ?
You dey here when dem give us 1M monthly you no talk Na small e remain I for injure myself driving night and day pursuing 1M

I think 2m for the whole year is more reasonable and realistic. You will also have time for other businesses.

I can bet my last penny no one on this thread has achieved that ridiculous and unrealistic 1m monthly target. Some can do half of it but their body and car will definitely break down at the end of the month.

If it is an issue with a bad water pump I believe with or without ac I should still have the issue. Was at Atan(Ogun state) yesterday and entire trip lasted 5hrs to and from with traffic without any issues except I didn't put on the ac.

Good evening everyone in the house, veterans, new drivers, ants, hoodlums and lazyD.
Below is to share my experience, and also motivate whoever needs motivation.
So last year I was in the lookout for investing my excessive time and money into a business that could at least yield profit in addition to the money am making from my handwork.
I went online, did several research and that was how I stumbled on this thread.
Still contemplating in my mind about investing in this hustle or not, I read stuffs from different monikers here both the gbas gbos, the advice the complains and everything helped me made an informed decision.
In particular cheerfulgiver (those dashboards kept coming in) , deedee44 (dropped a quote that gingered me) and pearl 1910 (helped me in decision to buy my manual car).
Without saying too much, i would want to encourage whoever wants to invest in this hustle (drive for yourself) to please go ahead and do so.

My advice below( not for everyone oooo, but for hustlers like me, who have small amount of capital to invest)

If the sole reason you are buying a car is for e-hailing and to maximise profit, pls don't let your budget exceed one million naira (you will recoup capital quickly)
Breakdown on how to spend the one million naira ( look for a good manual car not more than 700k, then 100k - 150k for tune up, the remaining money for any unforeseen circumstances)
Emphasis on manual car is because Na weytin I Sabi I go show person.
People complain of the stress about driving manual cars, I tell you for free it's no big deal.

Also I want to say my opinion about choice of cars in this hustle, because often times I see people asking which car to buy, I tell you for free, it doesn't matter if it's a corrolla , Honda, Benz or Skoda Octavia. The only thing that matters is buy a good car ( sound engine, good transmission, 1stbody, neat interior) you are good to go.
Mind you this riders don't care if your car is manual or automatic, all they care is move them from point A to point B safely in a clean car.

So many things on my mind to say but then, I can't type it all.

Anybody with a question, feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge.

Happy new year
