ChrisKels:Very true my brother. I remember one reaching out to my mother when I was about getting married with visions of I won't have kids if I go ahead to marry my wife and the family name won't be carried on bla bla bla as the only son. I replied her that I don't mind not having biological kids and I choose to do life with her regardless. Long story short, we have twins as our first. I invited the prophet to come witness the naming ceremony sef. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Papi85: Reading through the comments on this, I can see that your fear about marrying her steams from her family background. Like elyte89 said, there's a saying in Yoruba land that one can have a bad wife but not bad in-laws.. How much influence do you think the girl's family will have over her when you eventually marry her? Shebi u are based abroad? How about you help her relocate there too and be away from her family? But the most important thing you should consider is whether this girl truly loves you as much as you love her, and if she exhibit any kind of character you think might pose a problem for you later on. 2 Likes |

That's why I said, you no dey tire? Everybody knows he's in the Spanish lower division, everybody knows he as at today he's yet to live up to his potentials. I have never spoken positively or negatively about Nwakali. All I've said is that since he's been invited he should be given an opportunity to play and let's see what he makes of it. 2 Likes |

Papi85:You remind me of my mom warning to my uncle her junior brother. She warn him not to marry from TIV tribe he did not listen, he went ahead and got the girl pregnant, my mom take him to the village to my grandma. My grandma told my mom that the woman in question has already give birth to a son for my uncle so there is no need to separate them. My mom objected, she said she has been with this people for more than thirty years she knows the in an out of this people. My uncle went ahead and marry this woman, when the attack start coming it was unbelievable, first there poison him the same people who welcome him with open hands poison him we rushed him to the village, then when the second attack came he could not with stand it. Although she gave birth to four boys in a marriage that spam for ten years before my uncle died, two of the boys are with my mum, one with my aunt and the last with her. I did not mention the part where my uncle was paying money to her wife family every year, i did not even mention the promiscuous life of my uncle wife when he was alive and after his death. Your kinsmen can't just wake up and say you should not marry from a particular place No! is what there have seen and experience of life makes them took such decision 4 Likes |

Papi85:A pastor once told me and I quote, "you can go ahead and marry her, I won't tell you not to but what I am seeing, you will regret marrying her in future. So pray to God yourself for guidance and pray to God to cause a quarrel that can't be settled if truly she is not your wife to be". And this I did and within 1 month, the quarrel that happened shake the both families and till today the both families still sees and treats each others as sore enemies. For my dad who seemingly liked her when he was alive to appear to me in my dream 3 days after his final burial and warned me about marrying the girl, that was when I finally made up my mind to back out. My brother, don't listen to people that would tell you if it's your family and friends that will stay with her, majority of them might have seen things that they don't want to tell you. So my brother, you marry her or not, the both of you will still live because the both of you were separately living and living happily I supposed before the both of you met. So, brother, from experience, and with all you have said, I will tell you not to marry her and run for your life. I wish you well 6 Likes 1 Share |

jieta:aside the signs I hv been seeing both spiritually and physically many told me that pple from the girls place don’t stay in their husbands house, they are promiscuous, strong hearted and fetish That it is very difficult to bend their women and for peace to reign that the man hv to take a back sit as a weakling while the woman attains the role of the head Baba me na lion and a very stubborn person so I rather remain single than give up my pride and position as a man Even this mentioned behaviors I must confess I do notice it in her most especially the issue of been hardened/strong hearted She is very stubborn as well and a type that when offended she finds it difficult to forgive unless I involve my sister or friend or even her elder sis and bro. It’s takes 2-3 days to appease her when ever I wrong her with constant begging Also the word ‘sorry’ is not in her dictionary |

Mujtahida: Yes, I am though I was born a Catholic, and sent to the best Catholic and one of best secondary schools in Nigeria "Order of the Monks - Marist Brothers" just so I could be taken away from my traditional roots because they saw the signs even before my birth. Lol I started serving mass in the Catholic church as a little kid and I served till I left the university( I can still serve till tomorrow, if I wish to because I love it), but then, I knew who I was all along. I love the Catholic church due to its doctrines that somehow align with the teachings of African traditional religion. I'm not one who trashtalks other religions but I still Accord Christianity its respect because of the Catholic Church. I just love the traditional way of life where I observe my Chi, Ndi mmiri( what you call the marine world), Ajala(mother Earth), anyanwu na Agbara, onye uwa(incarnate) and others. Make peace with your Chi and your heart will know enormous peace. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I don't knack jazz because I'm not evil, but I have ofor na ogu that fights my battles. I will never wish a fellow man death, but if you wish me death, as long as you walk this Earth and you drink water. The earth will hunt you down, and the water you drink will become poison to you. Dem no dey telli person. Majority of failed marriages today showed red flags during courtship but many turned blind eyes to it. When the trouble go start for marriage na body go tell you. I'm very sure you won't forgive yourself especially when you remember that you saw the red flags and had the opportunity to avoid it. I'm not a proponent of clan/community stereotyping, but Arondizuogu, Ohafia, Abiriba, Arochukwu in the Igbo land have some spiritual configuration that only them and their people understands best. It is usually dangerous for outsiders (Non indigene) to venture to those places without due diligent investigation. Make God no let person go carry him head go magnet more problems in the name of marriage. Finally before you marry as a man, please it is not enough to know the girl alone, you must also understand her friends, and family view/mentality on issues before considering the marriage. Just like in football, her family and friends are the Technical directors/coaches through which the tactics she will be dishing out in marriage will come from. On this note, I welcome everyone to this year's Afcon.. I can't wait for kick off. Abeg if you know of any medium through which I can stream live Afcon matches online, biko share.. andrewbaba44: 7 Likes 2 Shares |
