The arguments just dey funny me.

Some people really think they can bully NFF into taking a player to World Cup.

Even if that is a possibility, the level of bench he will eat in that World Cup, they will wish he never went.

People will certainly ask questions and the coach with pinnick will explain why a player with such form is left out

I think we have passed that stage where things like that happen

I hate watching team playing too many long balls from defence to attack, I saw most of it in today's game.
When they can't go through the middle with tip-taps they will just resort to one boring aimless long ball that will later fall in the hand of opponent goal keeper... somebody should warn ekong, that's his trademark

You are not alone. I'm glad he and Dennis were excused

Osimhen to heal properly

Dennis to continue his rich vein of form in order to get a good deal come summer.

These two would serve us better at the World cup

World Cup is in December

Why are we talking about who is going for a competition that is at the end of the year?

Watford may not even be in EPL by then, Nigeria may not qualify. What is this Dennis talk?

There is still a lot of time

The epl will end and another new season again ,he might be in the championship and he might also be in a new epl team before then and still giving us good performances

Their set-piece defending was nothing to write home about. Onana is overhyped, at least in the Cameroonian jersey if not Ajax's.

Any team that is well organized and can pass the ball on the ground will run circles round this Cameroon team. You don't need to match their strength to beat them. Watch as Cape Verde will give them a tough time in their next game.

In the Camerounian jersey, I'm always more comfortable with his cousin brother, Fabrice Ondoa. I wonder why their coach left him out despite his experience as an AfCoN gold medalist

Omeruo is really a wack defender. We always concede cheap goals when he's in defense
Our first match against Zambia enroute Russia 2018, he made us concede

At the WC proper he couldn't close down on Messi. Messi scored

last afcon against Cameron, he couldn't clear the incoming cross even though he was in front of the defender. Cameroon equalized

Still same match, a long ball from midfield, Omeruo couldn't head it out. He was out jumped. Cameron went 2-1 up

In the match against Algeria, he couldn't clear his lines. Algeria scored first.

Omeruo no good abeg

some people are funny sha, so you are telling me Dennis, and he’s form continue its upward trajectory, will somehow be dropped for World Cup? It just can’t happen.

I don’t really see much into not coming for this afcon, I can understand the situation.

it is better for Dennis to stay at watford and keep his main man status at the moment, than quickly leave for a nations cup full of hypertension, will he even play if they didn’t fire rohr? Again it’s not like dem eze situation where they can play for England or any other team, na naija he go still play for weather he likes it or not, and why won’t he like it.

Long story short, Dennis is a banker for World Cup if he keeps playing and scoring in the EPL.

Dennis's exclusion was one of the main reasons Pinnick gave Rohr his sack later, yet some people still doubt he would be back after AfCon? Lol Pinnick wey dey romance Watford?

The good thing about Nigeria is that Nigeria is also a tournament team.

We've played 18 AFCON games, and have finished on the podium in 15 of the 18. So, anyhow leg wan set, we go jump am.

You never see our team, you dey talk who you wan face who you no wan face. Some Nigerian fans ehn
The last time I saw Nigeria play was against Cape Verde. If you're feeling bullish after watching the game then I will say you're just a deluded Super Eagles fan.
Worse still, we are missing key players with 100% of your strike force making their AFCON debuts.
You're done chest beating?

Hold on, you think Cameroon are facing Brazil, France or Spain? They are playing Tunisia, Zambia, Comoros, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Algeria,Ethiopia,Lesotho.Eswantini.
The level you saw them today is good enough to beat any of these teams in this championship. With home support being an X factor.

You must not know what a tournament team means, and this is why you should refrain from talking about things you have little knowledge of.

A tournament team is a team that comes through in a tournament, no matter how poor they may be before the tournament.

So, if you want to use some game against Cape Verde that was not played in a tournament, then, that is your first mistake.

Go and Google what a 'tournament team' means and why Nigeria is referred to as such.

And which 100% of which strike force is making their AFCON debuts? Kelechi, Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Henry Onyekuru, Ahmed Musa, were all at the last AFCON. You're just opening your mouth to talk, and talking rubbish up and down

The last time Nigeria went to a tournament on the back of a streak of poor results was Russia 2018. How good were they at the tournament proper? Tournament team my #*&.
Mind you, the core of this team are the same set that went 2020 calendar year without a single victory. Then wobbled their way through Car, Liberia and Cape Verde. Somehow you're expecting miracles.
No wonder hacks like mommy GO is making waves in Nigeria.
