Even if he gets the admission, a Visa Officer would likely assume that his knowledge about Agric economics would have been obsolete by now and this might be termed as wrong purpose of visit to Canada (Japa). 2 Likes |

Lolly30: Hello Lolly30, First, don't you have a student email? I thought once you're admitted in a school, they usually create student email for the applicant. So why send mail using Gmail/Yahoomail as the case maybe. That being said, school always give feedback when students send mail as regards deferment. Schools have their modus of requesting for deferment. While some school may have a form you will fill and attach in the mail to send, some will just need you to send a mail to the officer in charge. Hope when you sent it, you quoted your student number, preferred resumption date etc? As per how long it can take, it depends on school. Some schools may take 3 working days, some below while some more. So just relax and be checking your mail for deferment approval/rejection response 1 Like |

Hello all, I want to appreciate us all for the good job we are doing here. But I must be sincere with us, It breaks my heart that recently, seems this thread have now turned to ONLY ASKING AND TAKING WITHOUT GIVING BACK Imagine if the gurus that started this informative thread had left without giving back, by now many of us would be in the dark as regards to Canada study permits processes or at the mercy of wicked agents who would have sapped us dry of our hard earned money and still dash us ban. Now if we don't give back, how would the newbies learn and not fall victims of these agents? It has gotten to the point that newbies and old members now had to beg or ask people to drop timeline after shout of PPR. The essence of this timeline sharing is to help one another, whom by looking at documents submitted, will make him or her know where he or she faulted. We don't need to be asked to drop timeline before doing it. Let's do it to help one another. Is not all the time that the gurus will be here to direct and answer questions. Reading through chats, I saw influx of shouts of PPR some days ago and it ended there. Guess God has now answered your prayers and you don't need this thread again Abi? Let's all help one another through sharing of our timeline and document's submitted please. It goes a long way in helping. Also, please those that have travelled, please endeavour to share your landing gist nah. It will help people getting ready to travel to know what and what you have handy and what to expect. Very many questions of people who are about to travel have asked as regards documents needed at the airports by airlines, but no clue cos those that have travelled, haven't come back to give us landing gist. Sometime last month during the flight ban, many left through indirect route and many have gone after the lifting of flight ban. So what's happening? Please you all should come back and give is landing gist. It go help us well well. Jay316, I'm waiting for your own in particular lol. @Makano, guess you need to inform justmellow about the thread. The pages is now too long to read through. Help us tell the moderators to do what they know how to do best. I wish us all the best. We all shall smile at the end of this huzzle. 30 Likes 1 Share |

tosynn007: Apply for your study permit using the new ircc portal which is quite straightforward compared to the gckey site. When filling the form on the new portal there is a page where you will need to answer if you intend applying for a co-op permit together with your study permit. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Lolly30: Woow. The bolded really got me. Just imagine. Did you see your admission letter? Hope it isnt a doctored admission letter. Now as a student, you're suppose to have a student email which you will be using henceforth to communicate with the school. So I think you should demand your details from him/her and run your application by yourself. Just hope he/she hasn't messed up your visa application. All the best 1 Like |

Kam3: Hi Kam3, Please see attached to see the documents you will attach on the new portal. You'll see guide on documents to merge together once you click each drop down. You can merge your bank statement, sponsor's bank statement, employment letter and every other document explaining your proof of funds together as funds. So, merged documents vary per individual depending on available documents. But the drop-down will guide you on how to merge the right documents together. I hope this answers your question. 7 Likes

Lolly30: Since it is just admission and haven't started the visa process it is good. Get your admission details from him, pay for his services and reach out to the school your self Start from your school website, verify the admission is real , look for the tuition and deposit fee to know if it is really 200k. Request for criteria for deferral and available semester.. Literally do the work your self..getting admission isn't the difficult part , visa is koko Get on your feet and reach out to the gurus once u are stuck or need clarifications |

tosynn007:Hi tosynn there’s no need to worry. I applied for my study visa with co-op last year and just submitted a letter from my school to support my co-op application. Just indicate the co-op requirement when applying for your visa and submit supporting document to that effect. |

Zolagigo:Mine is PG Occupational Safety, Health and Wellness this May 9 2022. Just applied for my study permit last week. I did medical december 9 and IOM sent me medical passes December 17, I have done biometric and it has been updated on the site that biometric completed. My medical status is still showing that no medical needed yet despite the fact that I inputed UO serial number when I was filling my visa application online and I clicked that I had done medical check in the last one year. I also attached the e medical document given to me by IOM in the supplementary documents. Still positive |

Hi @ Elmemeoflagos, You can apply to a number of masters program without a 2.1cgpa. However, I've read some comments that suggested that you should apply for PG in a College. It is a nice advise, but certainly not the only way. I had 2.89cgpa in my first degree and got admitted to the almighty Queen's University in Canada for my Master's degree. The following steps could help: 1, are you willing to pivot into a different career/field? 2, what was your previous degree(s)? 3, in what field/industry have you been working? With the above questions answered, I will be able to guide you to about 3 programs you can apply to. There're far many factors that can make your applications competitive beyond an "ordinary cgpa". I've walked your path and will advise you based on personal experience. 1 Like |
