grin grin this is hilarious, no I have never driven on any of the platforms even tho I wanted try it back then for the experience but I didn't have the time for all the registration hassles. however I have 2 vehicles out on higher purchase and I also enjoy reading thru this particular forum.

Is like we will start asking people to state if they are Drivers ,
riders or
partners/car owner.
To avoid confusion.
I’m not even surprised unlike one driver dt lied to us that he bought 2016 Corolla for bolt after his matrix packed up.
Same guy lied dt he lives in lekki but alas he lives in iyana ipaja.

It's not really a business I'm into, the 2 vehicles I gave out I bought them at what you'll call a good deal and decided to give out on HP. I do not have any presently.

Honestly, some times I think back at some of the things I read here and can't seem to place which claim is more unbelievable than the other.

1) Found a way to drive around Lagos without encountering traffic.
2) Found a way to drive defensively such that his car never saw any scratch/dent all year round.
3) Found a magic word to tell riders so they wouldn't waste his time before starting trip.
4) Found a way to avoid Lastma/Firs/Vio/Police wahala all year round while driving on bolt.
5) Learnt the time and place most bolt riders go to, so that he can always position to get long trips on surge.
6) Made so much money from Uber and decided to upgrade from Toyota Matrix to Corrola 2013/2016.
7) Rented a house of over 1.2 milion per annum in chevvy view estate so he can always set destination trips against traffic. (Every bolt driver gets only 2 destination trips per day but our man's own was unlimited)

Our almighty cheerful. Not your average driver!!! grin grin grin

You can delete her cheque with signatures or make a formal report for dud cheque, this you have done can backfire and you will pay thru your nose to get out of it, forget what anyone will tell you here, if she decides to come after you, my brother you will no longer be the victim, she already committed an offense by issuing a dud cheque, pls report the case officially and delete this or pray she's not smart enough to use it against you, 80k is too small to get on the wrong side of the law.

Truth is you will be the one chasing her now. The debt tenure was too long. Laye, Laye , can't do driver for people on credit. They will surely abuse it.
Coming from a lady, she won't pay you on time.
Do you know her office address. If yes, dress like a gentleman and explain to whoever you meet there. No threats.

Since last year April? That’s way too long to recover debt. I understand the pain, time, money and effort wasted, but forget the money and move on brother. Take it as a lesson that would never repeat itself , I have had a similar experience. Mine was 90k in total after driving client around Lagos for 4 days, he paid half of the money 45k, he wasn’t with enough cash while in Lagos. I allowed him travel back to Delta state where he resides. The dude was so nice to me, he bought me food, we hung out together at so many places on the island with the chicks he invited to his hotel. For some many months he didn’t pay the balance and kept on posting me.

I forgot the balance, learnt my lesson and moved on. As God would have it he called me last year October and credited my account with the remaining balance. After 4 months of stories.

Since then I have sworn never to carry someone on credit again. Even if he or she likes buy me all the goodies in this Lagos. No way !!! That would never happen again.

You don't need to go as far as efcc, police will handle it properly, just ensure they put a call across to her while you're there, it will be on record that she has been invited, I am almost certain she will send your money immediately afterwards, forget about the fact that it's already a year, you will get your money back irrespective.

@eyinola try to find your route to her house. Even if na her former house, one or 2 neighbor go sabi where she’s currently living.

I had a similar experience about 2 years ago 2019. Naso I got request around Richmond estate (that 2face/Tiwa savage estate along meadow hall school) very early in the morning…..

Rider called say she go call gate! I enter the estate picked this woman and her daughter they’re going to ajah the small girl is having her waec exam. Off traffic zoom we got there.

On our way madam asked me how much I Dey make per day I said 25k she said consider the time I picked her she go pay 20k I said nope 22k last. She agreed seen her girl off to school and came back immediately told me I like your ac naso I run my engine from 8:40 something till almost 5oclock she slept wake up snoor and all.

Ok the daughter finally came out and naso we move on our way, I asked the woman shey make I send account She said yes but I’m still coming tommorow that her paper is 9 I should be there before 8am from mainland to island I had to Leave before 6 she no send the money oh got Richmond (I did this for 2 days)….

Naso I called the woman after I got home day 2 I noticed her number is not going through I called and called number blocked. I wanted to got mad but wifey was calming me down… a whole me one woman don jonze me 44k haaa no I no gree….

I drove empty zoom off to Lekki got to her gate I narrated my story to cso he no gree make I enter because them go sack all of them… well I sat in my car thinking one person or herself will reorder or come out from another car for hours nothing happens I was only getting Request from other estates…

I pasted her number on group back then people called she promised to send my money but nothing happened….

Well after 2weeks naso god help me oh I carry one girl enter that same estate with different street I was so happy cos after her incident, I Dey always go Lekki go hustle cos my instinct been Dey tell me say guy no how no how person go go that estate.

I knock her gate I press bell join one Aunty came hi brother hello please call mummy to come out okay…

Madam coming………. On sighting me, she wan enter ground. She summoned courage…. Good afternoon she smiled I no even answer her I just activated felicity hoodlum behavior straight… madam I no need your greetings enter inside if you no want wahala bring my money or do transfer right now make confirm….

This woman said she’s not with her phone that she’s coming Omo she go call security niooo that one came Dey asked me how I enter

I told the idiot say I came to drop someone narrated my story and I shouted on top of my voice if I don’t see my money either I die here or I burnt your house down naso I open booth carry jack naso I hit her small gate loud!!! Omo I created scene oh neighbors wey Dey peep came out Dey asked wetting happened Before I finished narrating my story to Neighbour’s, alert enter 45k she rushed down saying I have sent your money I entered my car zoom off…

Since that day any rubbish offline, is either I collect my money on spot or we go withdraw together.

God go help you with right way to get your money.
In this buhari regime 80k means allot

Same advice I told my wife few days ago.

I sincerely dont know why people opt for this rather than piggyvest or leave their money in their bank accounts

kanuisagoat:

My advice to anyone reading this is, don't do it.

1. Someone who has collected money may disappear, may be involved in a road accident leading to loss of life or a may contract a terminal disease. If that happens, part of your money is gone.

2. If you're not the first person to collect, the money would have lost some value before it gets to your turn. N50,000 naira in January is not the same as N50,000 naira in May.

My advice, open a mutual fund account and keep your money there. You earn some interest on it which may not keep up with inflation but is much better than doing the contribution
