Icon79: I thought emphasis here is on AFCON form whatever that maybe, that seems to be the dominant opinion. Because club form has nothing to do with selection for AFCON. |

Shukusheka: Tell me a good striker that cannot use his weaker foot, it's a attributes of a quality striker and in general player. I am have watched small boy Saka in Arsenal comfortable long range with both feet, same with Eze. The same with Kane, Mane, even Salah has some degree of proficiency with his right foot . Or Messi, Ronaldo, Benzema. It's not prejudice it's an attribute of a complete quality player. |

Subzero047: I don't really care if Musa is 22 or 44 , my question is he able to produce quality and is are there players clearly better than in him. And dribbling , skills and show boating doesn't mean better. In this regard I can't say he should not be there. The SE is not where players improve thier careers, they bring their quality they don't find it in in the SE SORRY. 1 Like |

komekn:You do not seem to get my argument. My point is why don't people also criticize players for being extremely right-footed like they do for left-footed players. I can count 10 players off the top of my head who can't do shit with their left foot but no one mentions this when discussing their weakness. 1 Like |

Yes he scored 3 or 4 goals but he was a slow player during the Rio olympics.I was surprised seeing Siasia include him in the lineup each match. We all have our opinions though drDoom3: |

Well, Ekong hasn’t been that good for the Super Eagles over the past few matches. In my opinion, the only reason Rohr kept playing him is because of the partnership with Balogun. The CB position is one area most coaches don’t like to make changes unless you have to do. O pari komekn: |

Shukusheka: There is nothing to learn; but how to strategize and face a similar foe in Egypt... Or you want to be unfortunate like Hitler's Germany heading into Russian territories without doing their deligence? If you have an idea of how to tackle your opponent via similarities (Morocco Vs Ghana) you'll have a better understanding of their playing pattern. |

Chidera Ejuke: Meet the talented winger leading Nigeria's charge at AFCON 2021 footballng.com The Super Eagles will be seeking a fourth continental title at the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, and one of the players that will be key to the side’s hopes is Chidera Ejuke. In a squad that has been decimated by injuries and withdrawals, Ejuke’s performance will be vital for Nigeria if they are to win a fourth AFCON title. But who is the talented winger? Ejuke is currently with Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow, but he has had quite a remarkable journey even though he is only 23. The 23-year-old’s talents were first spotted at the U-17 level, but the youngster never got to represent Nigeria at any age-grade competition. He didn’t make the Golden Eaglets that won the 2015 u-17 World Cup and was ineligible to represent the squad that failed to make it to the world stage two years later. Ejuke also had a failed trial with English Premier League club Liverpool. Following the disappointment of failing to play for the Golden Eaglets and Liverpool, Ejuke got his chance with Nigerian club Gombe United. However, he only stayed at the club for a few months before moving to Europe, where he signed for the Norwegian football club Vålerenga Fotball. Ejuke’s impressive performance in Norway caught the attention of Dutch football club Heerenveen, who paid 2m euros to sign him in 2019. But just like his time at Gombe United, Ejuke spent just a year at Heerenveen before CSKA Moscow snapped him up for 12m euros. Ejuke’s displays at CSKA earned him his Super Eagles debut in October 2020. But his talents only caught the eye of many Nigerians this season. The 23-year-old has been CSKA’s best player this season, winning the club’s player of the month in the last three months. At the international level, he is already a fan-favourite because of his ability to move past defenders with ease, even though he is yet to have a good run of games in the team. But with new interim boss Austin Eguavoen, a big fan of the skilful winger, Ejuke is set to play a vital role in the Super Eagles AFCON 2021 campaign. |

My observation on Ghana vs Morocco match 1. Ghana really held there own but where light in the midfield which affected there attack with only their number 15(paintsil) who force some nice attack driving from midfield to create a chance, hopefully dey get there second game right and grow into a tournament team. 2. Morroco have a compact defense, won the midfield battle toward the end of the match which gave them more boost in attack and eventually turns out good as they got their goal, thou off some error from partey, they are toothless in attack and might just always settle for a one goal or two goal win going forward and I personally think that coach made a wrong decision dropping ziyerch. |

You guys need to put some respect on Musa's name... He has been our standout player at both world cup he played. He's paid his dues. He deserves some accolades. As Nigeria's highest goal scorer at the world cup and the captain of the team, he has every reason to desire to play at Qatar 22. If he choose to retire after then, all good. 8 Likes |

Mujtahida: I guess that's a joke. Because me nor rate Collins. Never have. Never will. Na that goal him score deceive Rohr, just like Idowu deceived him. Baba Rohr dey very easy to deceive by average players, yet him go dey stress the good one lock their destiny for bench. So happy he's gone. Because now we for don dey hear, "We don't have Osimhen and Ighalo, our team is young, we lack a player like Salah, we are here to learn." Learn kee you dear. 6 Likes |
