PurpleHouse: It's the same thing Amunike is crying about. The number of talents we are throwing away due to the negligence to develop our local club football. I share the idea with him. We need to stop wasting billions on meaningless projects and develop our football. The number of jobs we can create from it, publicity, and even development. It can form a way to curb crime too. Sad we have visionless leaders who only enjoy seeing money in their accounts. 3 Likes 1 Share |

''You know we are missing Osimhen due to injury and experienced Ighalo. This Egypt match will be an interesting game. You they have Mo Salah one of the best players. For us we have to rely on the collective because we don't have again players like Jayjay or kanu. You know we are a young team....'' PurpleHouse: 2 Likes |

Technique over physicality anyday, anytime. This is why I don't support those who subscribe to the notion of choosing very physical players and dropping the less physical ones for the AFCON. Until West African teams learn to incorporate the tenets of technical football into their style of play, the more fragile looking but highly intelligent and open minded North African teams will continue to have an edge over us. Shukusheka: You know we were taking about forward players. And yes there are many player's who are so heavily one footed it's become a handicap. But more so with forward players. I've seen Jordan shoot with both feet and do 30 yard passes with both feet. You don't know Coutinho , you are wrong, I know him Wijnaldum. You are wrong about Bernado too as well as Quresma. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=la3pl3_8Eus |

komekn: Zaidu’s crossing is decent… We don’t need him to be a Robbo or a Trent, as long as he is fast to recover, strong and can cross well, for me he’s okay. |

I've been impressed with the facilities and most especially broadcast quality so far. Looks like a tournament taking place in SA or any North African country. One wonders why CAF even toyed with the idea of taking it away from Cameroon to Qatar. 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon: Lmao you don’t watch CSKA then. Ejuke is not a winger for CSKA, he is a left-sided AM (part of the 2 in like a 4-3-2-1). Most of his CSKA highlights show him collecting the ball from deep in midfield and then drifting into the left wing. Also he gives through passes for CSKA too. Watch his highlights. 1 Like |

drDoom3:I don't watch it very often though. Just a few times and his highlights as well. But you still captured what I'm saying. He either drifts to the wing to cross or comes from wing. So is that how he will play the number 10 for us? |
I agree with most of what you said. But... Morocco is more compact than Egypt ooh. Na because na Ghana that's why you feel they're not compact. This Moroccan team will eat Senegal for meal. Ghana get pedegree and strong head for Afcon even though it's been 30yrs they last won it. Ebuehi can handle Salah majestically. You're right about Sanusi, he runs and lacks sense, and overlaps too often. But he's fast. In essence, if we play slightly better than Ghana with a midfield that's tough to crack, we will be unplayable by any team. And don't he surprised, we may just nack them 3 : 0 tomorrow.
This was the dream I had last year November ... imagine dreaming of a match that is to be played in January and then seeing a correct score of 3:0 8 Likes |

You cannot be playing moi moi Football in a low level league and club and think you become a Lion in the AFCON. Not a youth game in the Olympics how many years ago ❓ |

The publicity is very very low. See stadium attendance? Will combined Tourney attendance reach 600k like this? Make Super Eagles do Big brother for CAF and save them this embarrassing numbers tomorrow. Watched Zimbabwe highlights. Their setup was really technical. Senegal are still sleeping or if this is their quality, then OYO. |
