Moses Simon was man of the match

Accept that

In your village. A player that couldn’t create 1 single clear cut chance or score despite beating his man numerous times. Even ejuke threatened their goal keeper twice

Imagine if na Chukwueze And Ejuke start this match(both are good playerz I respect), I swear Chukwueze inactivity And Ejuke adagba(selfishness) for frustrate all of una here today...
Simon Moses though not perfect but showed character and hunger to take on players....his constant cross out gave us something we are cheering on right now

Omeruo and Ekong can't hold Salah... Bla bla... How far? Rohr finished our team with fear.fear. whatever happen in this tournament ,I am happy to see the coach making changes at 70 +mins, bringing in a striker and a winger.

cheesy cheesy

I knew Sadiq was bad but l expected WAY MORE

You are in the Segunda and have been for two seasons, this is your chance to SHOW WHAT YOU CAN DO.

Seize the opportunity

He will never have a bigger game than this , no urgency, no determination, no presence, no technique, no pace, no physicality, no aggression, no skill, NO NOTHING.

Nwakali self the AM the midfield maestro WOW lost for Words.

KC really found his position which is behind the Attacker , Aribo was very composed and if Moses had some finesse he should have scored. All round very good performance.

Low points substitutions.

Nigeria is the best footballing nation in Africa. We are just unlucky and unfortunate not to have won more trophies considering how many bronze we have and how many times we have reached the semis.

As for the world cup, we have not gone with a good coach yet. If we can get that right we can go far internationally.

Kudos to the boys.

e match.

Omeruo comes second.

I loved Iheanacho and Awoniyi partnership. but the former could have scored at least two more goals, if not for first touch palaver.

Ndidi remains a jewel.

Chukwueze, your match is still dey front.

Zaidu is good.

Aribo showed his critics that he can play African.

Troost try

okoye to try
Omeruo gave alot of great passes to Simon

How can somebody be so tall and cannot win a basic defensive header from a corner. I'm sorry guy offers nothing slow languid and a just has no presence

Why did Ejuke not release that balk to Iwobi who was free

Like?! Ridiculous! Very stingy player. undecided

No single yellow card in the game. Both teams played professionally. Gonna be hard for players like etebo to get into this team..

Sometimes football isn't about gragra.

Selection of players for world cup will not be easy if Nigeria qualifies. Rohr would have played Musa and Iwobi.

NFF should be applauded for hearkening to the calls of Nigerians by sacking Rohr. Imagine if this match was played under Rohr.

Ask them?

I don't want to criticise Simon's game, because we won.
We see what we see.

Top performers

Ndidi,
Iheanacho.

What type of footballing inferiority complex is this ?

So because Algeria drew 0-0 against Sierra Leone then we should now justify rohr nonsense against Sierra Leone?

Should I remind you that Nigeria threw away a 4 goal lead ?

This Sierra L team managed to hold down two current African Giants(like people love to say) to disgraceful draws.

Show me where the inferiority complex is in realising that we probably doubted their ability and that they're actually stronger than we thought they are.

This is untrue. Sadiq was very active. Remember, we were parking the bus towards the end of the game and he was the only one pressing. He didn't get any chance, and the few times he touched the ball he caused problems for the Egyptian defense.

Please please I am BEWILDERED .

How can you be playing as a Winger and or Wing back and you cannot cross basic ball.

In most academies boys at U13 playing forward are expected to cross with both feet.

Eguavoen seems to have identified and solved Ejuke's weakness, which is unnecessary dribbles and holding on to the ball for long.
