drDoom3:Not true. Iwobi was free. You can even see Iwobi making that usual hands- to- the- feet gesture footballers make indicating that they are free for a pass. 3 Likes |

andrewbaba44:I just tire oh... Awoniyi's movement off the ball was top notch. Once he got the ball, he finds Iheanacho with a pass then make some runs and Iheanacho the agbalagba of through pass was giving him sweet passes. Awoniyi was just unlucky not to have scored. 14 Likes |

AndSunGorilla: That’s his style of play. To me, he was more productive than Simon, chukwueze and needs to be starting |

chrisooblog: The Egyptian defender was faster than Iwobi... He would have stopped Iwobi way before he came anywhere near the 18. You can't give a pass that early if you see that who you are passing to will be closed down, that's basic tactics. See how the defender completely covered that area, so much so that Iwobi had to drift away to see if he could pounce on the loose ball or if Ejuke would square it. |

Mujtahida:Exactly... Iwobi made his favourite gesture. Ejuke need to change, make he no go get problem with his teammates. |

At the end of the day , those of us who saw the nothingness in Rohr are finally proven right! I mostly watched the ball in parts and I was a bit impressed because the players wore a new air of confidence and lethality. I was actually impressed by Ndidi and Ekong. Simon Moses didn't have a bad game , either. The substitution make perfect sense and we can only hope for the best. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I'll take this 1:0 sha but I was expecting us to score more. And Aribo needs to be moved forward,he is a goal-threat. Ejuke was disappointing but I no go blame am. Sanusi was the weak link today but I still no go blame am Abeg make somebody tell Okoye to stop sleeping on the floor anytime he catch simple ball. The thing funny die... Dude be doing like secondary school amateur goalkeeper His distribution was poor today sha but may God bless him for that save. 13 Likes |

komekn: Sadiq had much less of the ball than Ajayi did. FFS how does a striker show his value when the entire team is parking the bus? That's just like saying Ederson performs poorly in Man City games because he rarely sees the ball. 3 Likes 1 Share |

andrewbaba44: His first 5mins was okay though. I'll give him that. Two big misses by Ejuke and Nacho today. Painful. Besides its typical Naija behavior to ovwrhype our opponents than ourselves. Its been happening since their Onigbinde time and nothing has changed that in the slightest. Even the Egyptians were very cautious vs us tonight. Meaning they respect us. We never anticipated them thinking that way cos we never cut our team some slack of what their own pedigree causes in opponents' camp. The boys have gone down in History sha!! 6 Likes

Double standard people will not swallow their pride Wey big pass bag of rice Instead of them to tell you that chuks didn’t perform as expected ,they choose to tell you Moses Simon didn’t have a good game Shameless people 14 Likes 1 Share |

12large1: I don't know what everyone else is watching. Ejuke had 2 shots on target out of our 5 despite only playing 20 minutes. He was more productive than Simon and Chukwueze combined in this game. He was just unlucky to miss and that there was no true outlet in time for him to make a pass for a tap-in. 1 Like |

I wonder if we all watch the same match. Okoye and defenders played very well. The midfield was impressive Chukwueze didn't deliver today Moses Simon deserved to be named MOTM Iheanacho and Awoniyi did well though they need to work on their finishing.( Reminds me of Ideye and Emenike combo in 2013) Ejuke is yet to mature, he needs to learn. Sadiq didn't perform well as I predicted; same as Sadiq in Rio 2016. Nwakali......................... 7 Likes 1 Share |
