@kaylove12 Thanks so much for your Prompt response. Let me start with the application on department if education site: will i only fill the application in department of education site? One is allowed to choose three schools, will i send one transcrit for the three school? How soon can one get sponsored by school during or after the program? Which part of England is more likely to job on time before or after training Let me pause for now, i still have other questions if i will not be bothering you Thanks so much |

The best thing is to test for malaria, and took malaria injection before coming to uk. If u re coming with those drugs u must come with doctor's prescription and beside she supposed check the drugs in and not inside her hand bag. Viruses: |

Anitaamich: You too can contribute once in a while madam nurse, stop doing hit and run since 2020 The Midlands and up north is generally cheaper if you choose right but then again if you're used to London/South East you might not find those places very easy initially. If you know people there even better 1 Like |

kaylov12: Hi Kaylov12. I hold an offer for secondary maths at edge hill University UK, sept 2022. Please I have some questions and would really appreciate your input being very experienced in this regard... (1) How long was the entire visa duration (the visa length). Was it 12 months, or 14months? For example if you started study Sept 2020, what month did the visa expire? (2) The health surcharge paid during pgce visa application. Is the pgce course treated as less than 12 calendar months or equal to 12 calendar months? Because the costs are different. (3) Studying a shortage subject, maths, are jobs offers with visa sponsorship very common or are they hard to come by, especially as one progresses to the second school placement. (4) Are schools in the academic trust actually looking to sponsor a maths teacher in the actual sense, or is it just on paper? I'll leave it here. I really appreciate your response and thanks very much in anticipation PS kindly help a curious brother. God bless you. |

Anitaamich: I believe the general pay scale for nurses would apply. For a new nurse that should be Band 5 with salary between £25 to 32k. You usually get more on the job with additional certifications, shifts etc I am an advocate of Midlands as i believe it is not too expensive and a good balance considering you will be moving from London. However, you can consider up north like Newcastle, Sunderland, Scotland and all. Cost of living is also cheaper over there. You can also request physical interviews for any location for you to get a feel of the place 1 Like 1 Share |

The Hairdresser Lady, leave your number at the African shops near you. Also list your business on Google. That's where I get my hairdressers from. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Many thanks @Missjekyll Do you know if registering the business (with the government) is a requirement for Google listing? My business is unregistered in the UK and I currently operate from home as I plan to take on paid employment as well. I'm fairly new here and not ready to start dealing with all the paperwork associated with business registration just yet. missjekyll: |

LagosismyHome:But it has been working for me. So why will I not continue. 3 weeks of recurring flu is not joke. It handles the throat so very well. Yes, in Nigeria we abuse drugs but it wasn't planned when I did that cos I thought it was malaria after being sick for long. Malaria test was negative but then I have taken the medication. When you are so sick and couldn't eat for days( lost kgs within few days due to high fever) you will be desperate to try anything and yes, it worked. I hardly fall sick and that's the only time I take medication and lo, it won't kill me. And yep, I'm not a novics in the health industry. If I have malaria tab, I will so gladly take it without looking back. Won't make that mistake again next year. Maybe you are OK with high fever, I'm not. Gulping ibuprofen and co everyday yet no remedy. Just hold it there Mr ITK Nigerian. Six feet don't know that. Not ready to die yet. 1 Like |
