We were close to Midway into the second half and the substitutes were not warming up. So I think he told Yobo to get them warming up.

I want to commend TheGoodJoe.
He is the first on this thread to highlight Ekong's good passing range.

He talked about it with so much authority and assurance, and as usual with good references.

An attacking front line that has Ejuke on the wings and Iheanacho as the ST or SS will produce more in goals.

Not the Ejuke we saw today

if I be the coach ejuke don play finish. Olayinka is better than him forget say em Dey lesser league and club
Before today's game I'm sure Ejuke would have read on social media how people are frowning at his selfish style of play, but the guy wanna do his thing his selfish way (all the same I still love his football moves), but if he thinks he will come and be doing what Jay Jay did against Denmark at France 98 where he will dribble dribble and fire shot of "end product to hit bar or fly over keeper crossbar and then laugh over it, spits on the ground and continue the same cycle, if he thinks he will keep doing that, then he has the Vernom of angry 9ja fans to face....

Why is no one saying anything on okoyes save that denied Salah getting an equalizer? Abi if na uzoho now una go give us 101 reasons why maduka can never make such save? cheesy
But that ball lacked power na. The thing is that Ekong misjudged putting Salah offside but quickly recovered to pressure Salah and make him lose power in playing the ball. I feel we were lucky.

I just checked our part to winning this tournament assuming we top our group. (Most likely).
If we win our group, we would face the 3rd place team at group B, E, F (likelyhood) malawi, zimbabwe, E Guinea, Sierra Leone or mauritania, gambia… If we past that stage, we would likely face
Ghana or Burkina Faso.. (I want Ghana)

Semi final: Senegal.. if we can defeat Senegal, now, I will commend our coaching department. I am not one of these mumu analyst that will be deceived by 1 game

You think Iwobi would've got the ball?

He might have, but we wouldn't know now. There was a better chance of making that pass than scoring from that angle because he had a goalkeeper and a defender closing him down.

Egyptian police are determined to find M. Salah after he vanished in the stadium while playing against the Super Eagles.

Eye witnesses report that they saw a huge man who just came from Porto last with him.

Balogun and ighalo shoulf just retire from the national team

After afcon will like to see the likes of amoo and bassey integrated to the team

Akpoguma should be recalled and given a chance to show what he has to offer

Aina is our best right back so make una stop this una ebuehi hype
You fit come see Ebuehi perform now you go scratch your head. I think a team is good when you have positions that can be filled so just as well by the sub as those who make the first 11.

Match ended 0-0

From the few minutes I watched, the Sudanese defence is porous and their goalie is very much prone to error.

Their forward line is almost non-existent. I definitely saw their goalie more times than I saw Guinea-Bissau's goalie and he was always flailing about

Sudan is a walkover

Inside the viewing centre today, I met so many ogogoro analyst like 12extralarge pant, many of them never knew about Ejuke, I was the one that uttered a statement saying "this guy na beast on the pitch when he is on the ball, but make una get ready to cos him papa for refusing to release pass to a free man, many of them laughed it off, shortly my brother Ejuke manifested the first one, before you know, voom e don manifest another one, na so ppl start to curse the guy ooo....
I love Ejuke,if he can be more of a team player walai, I go carry him matter for head and drum his support everytime

That move he made was too damn risky
I agree. We were going gong-ho attack when I thought what we needed was some steel in the midfield.

Ejuke is one the super eagles players I love to watch....but you must give kudos to Moses Simon, going forward he and I heanacho, plus aribo behind them plus a lil effort from awoniyi were the reason kept the Egyptian on their toes....stop rubbishing his inclusion because you want to see end product...go and watch the replay of Sudan and guinea bissau....you go belleful for end product even pack some put inside take away pack dey go house....but wetin end there match...na 0-0...
Go and watch replay of Algeria /Sierra Leone, u go watch end product taya till your eyes rise like Tinubu and oshiomole own...but wetin end the match...oga na 0-0...so give kudos to Moses Simon for his pumping effort of cross into the box, whether some connect well or not....no dey do like woman nyash there

Bro, I’m sorry but when I’m analyzing my wingers, I pay attention to their end product I.e Goals, assist, pre assist or even shot on target. I will never accept abysmal end product regardless of how many players dribbled. Simon on multiple occasions beat his man today (credit due) but as usual, his end product was absolutely abysmal. He couldn’t even force 1 single shot on target despite dribbling past his marker easily.. our wingers should go and watch finidi George tape in the early 90’s and see how a winger role is defined.. the Ejuke that some people are wrongly accusing of selfishness, constituted a 2 shot on target in 20 minutes

Rohr own is to give useless press conference before the match to talk down on our players (some people called it mind games) and then be looking all uninterested on the sidelines..
During the last AFCON, after that game against Madagascar, some ex international (I think Kanu) bashed him for being inactive on the sidelines, which was part of what contribute to our poor performance...
Eguavon clearly understand how these things are done...

PS: I'm not saying Eguavon is a top class coach or anything, but he is definitely better than Rohr.. NFF should do away with this habit of hiring mediocre foreign coaches who don't understand our football..they just want to chop us....
You know his body language just suddenly changed after we qualified and it confused people. Dem no come understand the man again. So they just tagged his foolish cowardice as mind game. Joebie e be like you were one of the first to say it's mind game Rohr was up to if I remember well.
