Guys, the next 4-5 hours will determine whether BTC moves from above $42700 to test $44500 or downwards to test $39650.

Glue your eyes to the news on US inflation data that will be released by 2:30pm today. If inflation is higher than expected (7%), the market will move downwards to test $39650. If it's lower, the market will move up to the next level of resistance $44500.

Hmmm, at the bolded, shouldn’t it be the other way around. High inflation drives the price of goods and services upward. Bitcoīn, stocks prices should naturally go up with increase in inflation rate and vice-versa.

Higher inflation would trigger the US fed to raise interest rate quickly to curtail inflation... People who borrowed or are on leverage will have to adjust their positions quickly to avoid paying higher interest... If they're in profit, and a lot of experienced whale traders are, they will sell off to pay back any outstanding loan now to avoid the interest rate hike.

The general sell off will cause a cascading effect of sell offs, thus causing prices to plummet downwards.

Lol….people keeps forgetting about the US debt burden, when talking about the interest rate….True, increase in interest rate drives money away from stocks, real estate and mostly assets that pays no dividends into bond but I doubt the fed are capable of increasing the interest rate as they did in prior years when we have situations like this….
