Lemsip and Beechams are actually better alternatives to treating cold/flu than using malaria meds. This is to prevent your body from developing resistance to them. descarado: 1 Like 1 Share |

This is also the case now in Nigeria as mine had to obtain their NINs before their passports could be obtained. But I am not sure why the high cost of 40 pounds for registration. You might want to really look into that. Endlessgrace: |

I promised to come back here after passing my driving test. Yayyy!! I passed in November 2021 for the first time, my test was in Coventry (crazy test route) but I had an amazing instructor so yes it’s doable. Anyone here on a Sole representative of an Oversea business Visa?? My son is starting full time nursery and that means packed meals. Any ideas please, he eats lots of noodles, poundo and waffles at home, hates fruits and greens but I want to change all that now. If you have any meal ideas appropriate for nursery setting , kindly share. Well done guys for always helping people on here by responding and sharing your experiences. 1 Like |

First question, how old is your son. Buy some snack packs from those big supermarkets and add a drink to it. Note in nursery they serve them food also |

Hello everyone, can anyone in Uk help me to sign a guarantor form for house, I don’t know any body in this country. I need to get accommodation, all of them are doing shakara, the one that agreed say I must be fully employe or have a guarantor. |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Mamatukwas: 3:36pm On Jan 12, 2022 |
Susom: Not sure about your location but most nurseries here won’t want you to come in with hot food. So it needs to be cold- Sandwiches, Fruit, Juice box, Croissants and/or biscuits. As someone mentioned, also find out if the nursery will feed your child. You might not even need to pack anything if he’s not a picky eater. 2 Likes |

Thank you, this makes sense because they won’t warm the meals before serving anyway. I am sure he won’t be fed lunch (it’s a sure-start nursery). Mamatukwas: 1 Like |

Mamatukwas: Hello all, some nursery provides breakfast and lunch, speak to them as I don't believe they will accept hot food especially with the cases of raising convid. Your best option is to provide sandwiches for your son, he will get use to it. |
