* Mikael is a battle hardened warrior before being turned to a vampire and the strength of a vampire is determined by their body strength before turning and because of being decades older, Mikael is far ahead of Klaus on the physical scale


* Mikael is the first and original vampire who dedicated his entire life to hunting vampires, Klaus specifically and feeding on vampires

Who will not fear such being?

this is what most people think but the truth is that even before Klaus became a Hybrid,he had some sort of fear for Mikael,after becoming a Hybrid,that fear was increased greatly.

Mikael despised Klaus because he was weak (weakness caused by Esther) after Mikael became an Original he discovered Klaus wasn't his son then his disdain for Klaus turned into hatred.

In VD/TO,when a human becomes a vampire, their emotions are increased.

I've never seen Mikael run from Klaus but I've seen Klaus run from Mikael and even tremble at the sight of Mikael.
Klaus and his siblings ran away from New Orleans for 300 years because of Mikael.
