And if Ighalo was in Leicester do you think he would have scored only two goals in the EPL so far.

YES! him no score shimshim in the premier league playing for Manchester United. He was that bad!

Many people from this thread always paint Ighalo like Suarez. The same Ighalo we all know.

Do you know that throughout his stay in Europe, he has only scored more than 10 league goals in one occasion ( at Watford in 2015/2016 season or so).

In fact, Ighalo never had more than 6 league goals in any of Europe First division including his time in Norway.

Super Eagles Camp Update: Pre-Sudan Training

A practice match was played today between Team Green and Team Red of the SE.

Team Green won 2-1. Onyekuru and Sadiq Umar scored for Team Green.

Kelechi Nwakali scored for Team Red with a Spectacular Volley shot.

Source: OgaNlaMedia

The 3 lads who bagged in the 30mins training.

Yes guys, we scored 3 goals in 30mins in training. 12 vs 12. That's something.

▶️Onyekuru (man on fire in camp) grounded Uzoho and bagged. Had a goal and an assist for Sadiq.

▶️Sadiq pounced on an Onyekuru pass to beat Uzoho.

▶️Nwakali smashed a worldie volley past a diving Maduka Okoye at full stretch (What do you think he's telling Iwobi grin )

Yep. The entire first XI + Nwakali (Team Red) but with the exception of Maduka Okoye who was switched to keep Goal for Team Green.

The rest of Team Green are not first teamers yet they won. Onyekuru ran the show.

After this AFCON Nigeria should work towards integrating these players into Super Eagles
1. Raphael Onyedika
2. Amoo
3. Moffi
4. Kingsley Michael
5. Calvin Bassey
I'm sure these players will add more depth to the team.

6. Alhassan Yusuf
7. Ademola Lookman
8. Igoh Ogbu (many don't know this lad grin )
9. Adebayo Adeleye (some don't know him)
10. Abbas Ibrahim (many don't know him too).
11. Ishaq Abdulrazak (several don't know him).
12. Several others including a few of the Naija dual-Nat lads who could still turn to us.

Don't forget the likes of Etebo, Balogun, Onuachu et al would be making a return to the team and the Number 1 Striker himself, Osimhen. wink

The Depth gets even better Post-Afcon for sure.

But for now, Let's focus on the lads in Cameroun.

Players MOST NIGERIANS will never forgive no matter what they do (they'll find every excuse in their minds to denigrate and disqualify them but it all boils down to past mistakes or unwanted actions) :

1) Yakubu Aiyegbeni
2) Odion Ighalo
3) Victor Moses

So sad embarassed embarassed

Emmanuel Dennis might just make this list in the future.

Think it is high time
The coach come to terms and understanding that Onyekuru,Olayinka,Nacho can all function as a 9 if need be so he shouldn't be stucked with replacing Awoniyi with Sadiq if the team tactics and flow does not suit the change

Moffi? Moffi isn't doing badly though Performance-wise. Eye test tins. Just that stats-wise, he hasn't scored a league goal since September. Last direct goal Involvement came in November.

Anyway, they play in 2 days, so hopefully he gets up to a fine goal scoring start to 2022.

But your first line is in line, no doubt. Just recall though that Kingsley Michael wasn't exactly "doing well" with his club before he got called up and made a fine debut showing away at Cape Verde.

I noticed there were a lot of International engagements during the super eagles’s match against Egypt, something I didn’t really notice before and even after the game.
From Jim Beglin, to Ian Wright, Gary Lineker, squawka and lots of other journalists, clubs and fans around Europe. The match really lived up to expectations.
This is not laying emphasis on their validation but this is the exposure and engagement we want for this tournament.
