Are Nigerian Men Becoming Unromantic? by Nobody: 10:14am On Jan 14, 2022 |
I read a post week back here on Nairaland by a guy. In the said post, the guy’s babe wanted them to hit the cinema. However, the said guy weighed his pocket and in order to cut costs decided to host his babe at his place; fueling his generator, cooking a meal, buying popcorn, buying data, and downloading some videos so both could watch and have similar cinema experience. What followed were some comments on the guy not being wise and being a simp. Another is a post relating to the reconciliation of Peter and Paul (P-square). I saw a comment claiming that their music would no longer sell because it is usually about love, and most Nigerian men no longer love. Seem if you are a Nigerian man and you try to be romantic you are labeled a simp. 1 Like |

Truvelisback: Read again! He was labeled a simp because of what he did to show affection. Like rather than cut costs, he shouldn't have spent anything. |

AbalonaTested:He isn't a SIMP. Most of the people who called him a SIMP are Females/Females in men's clothing. |
