Mujtahida: Please tell him. Sadiq performed better in 20 mins against Egypt than Ighalo did in an almost full game against Cape Verde. Sadiq pressed four defenders alone and was on hand to tap in the two Ejuke attacks. Ighalo looked totally unfit in that Cape Verde game. He looked like an ex-footballer that was invited for a charity game. 6 Likes |

Mujtahida: Aboubakar who is in track to be highest AFCON goals scorer according to your sense of reasoning has had his time Abe A player who is arguably not better than Ighalo. |

drDoom3: Sadiq was so slow and languid the Egyptian defender were playing piggy in the middle with him. Stop taking balderdash |

komekn: Respect doesn't win you games. With all the respect Kanu and Okocha command in Nigeria, you should probably call them back to come lead our attack in the world cup. Please someone should screenshot all these comments so that in one or two years time when Sadiq is top of La Liga scoring charts, he won't be able to pull of his legendary "here and now" line like he did for Osimhen. |

komekn: Slow and languid pressing a whole backline by yourself abi? Why do you think Eguavoen brought on Nwakali to assist him with the press? Shebi Awoniyi won't play 90 mins every game? Sadiq will get his gametime and when he does score, please don't bs this thread with your here and now phrase. |

komekn: Aboubakar is better than Ighalo. The only qualities Ighalo could be considered better are finishing and positioning. Abou is faster, stronger, younger, you can keep going on. Aboubakar is a power forward who hold his own in any top league. The only reason he is in Saudi is money and when he wants to come back, he will get offers. |

But back to matter's of present. We need our best players to be on top of their game. Simon M. Awoniyi. Onyekuru KC - Aribo Ndidi Zaidu Ajayi Ekong. Aina Maduka Okoye Subs Onyeka, Iwobi, Olayinka, Ebuehi, Musa and Ejuke. Barring injury. Like to see Aina play LB after Zaidu is subbed and Ebuehi comes on. Sudan know they are playing Nigeria they will play for there lives. They will be absolutely be aware of the task before them, it's for hard working disciplined players who follow the team strategy and plan. I expect a 3-1 win Awoniyi to score two goals. 1 Like |

Danielnino00:This year we should try to get members of Nairaland involved, maybe by organizing a football competition of just 2teams. It’s going to be massive and people will be much interested. We start from Lagos probably expand to other regions as time goes on. #my 2 cents. |

drDoom3: Ighalo is the same if he wants to come to the EPL he will get several club's. He is also in the same league as Aboubakar just scored more goals than him. We are Africans he may or may not be younger, Aboubakar has not played in the best league in the world but Ighalo has the EPL. Manchester United did not see him before they invited Ighalo Abe. Your deduction is based on emotive preference and dislike. The facts are before you, but you choose to imagine things birthed from a prejudiced mind.

komekn: But....but....Komekn, you condemned Awoniyi like two days ago. Mujtahida is not wrong . You condemned Awoniyi to elevate Ighalo just two days ago, you called Awoniyi a pretender. You are only elevating Awoniyi higher than another present player, Sadiq. You have not elevated him over the absentees. No come here dey try claim offense over that statement. It is very correct 1 Like 1 Share |

JohnBullMySon: How many years ago was that game? I am talking about the HERE AND NOW. In the HERE AND NOW undoubtedly Ighalo is nowhere near Aboubakar's level. except you are using emotive bias and prejudice in your decision-making. |
