You are talking too much and saying nothing of note Egbon. That's why I said e do abeg. You are making a funny case for a Midfield that couldn't string more than five passes together consistently in the first half. Abeg just leave it. You don't understand.

Omeruo doesn't trust him to get the ball and I don't blame him.
If the keeper does little work, he'll become distracted and also lose confidence. We saw it play out.

Maduka is quite talented. I saw his dive in the early stages of the game. He has talent and is improving. But at least I understand that Uzoho inspires confidence from his stance.

Maduka will improve with time.

I think we need to focus on our strikers more. The goalpost is very wide and even the best goalkeepers concede. The onus is on our strikers to score more goals than we concede.

Our players should practice taking long shots outside the box. The U-17's of 2013 did this so well and many of their goals came from outside the 18 yd box or were tap-ins from blocked shots.

If we need to substitute Awoniyi, Musa is a better 9 than Sadiq. What about trying Olayinka in the next game?

Lol you get a coach that doesn't react or make substitution until the 87th min e.g. Rohr, you complain.

You get another coach that reacts fast and makes necessary subs early e.g Eguavon, you still complain.

Wetin una want sef?

andrewbaba44:

There is nothing disrespectful about chukwueze substitution

Thank you
TheGoodJoe:

Let us follow the issue on ground. Not respecting Chukwueze.

The fact on ground is that Chukwueze should learn how to play with the full back. There were times Aina made daring runs but Chukwueze chose to ignore him, make runs witht he ball and lose it.

When Iwobi came on, his link up play with Aina was better.

I'm not contesting the substitution itself but the manner of the sub.

Why allow the player to come out for second half and before the half begins you sub him off.

He should have gone straight to the bench while only 10 players return to the pitch.

You could see Chukwueze was distraught when his name came on.

It is all because he has been getting praises from women, so, today, they just want to hate on him

They are calling it banter, but a lot of it is premeditated. If it was Uzoho, they will say it is because he faked his age

Nigerians kill me, I swear.
Na who never collect praises/advances from women before? undecided

It's not cool dragging players on national duty but we have to be sincere here and admit he's poor at goal keeping

Eguavoen was unprofessional and disrespectful in his substitution of Chukwueze.

You all came out of the same dressing room, yet you allowed the player to return to the pitch and before the second half resume, you yank him off.

all this respect wey una dey talk sef, you sure dem born chukwueze by the time Eguavoen retired as a player? make the dude win afcon like im coach then we can start talking about respect fa

Nothing valuable in gobbledegooks.

We lacked basic Midfield control in that first half against a team ranked 125 in the world and you bunch are here making unintelligent excuses for that horrific 1st half Central Midfield display. We couldn't string together Decent enough passing sequences in the middle game in the first half with our first XI against bloody Sudan and you think I am happy?

We only got it right in the second half when Iwobi and Nwakali came in. We were apparently much tidier in possession. Our passes per sequence were much better. Our transition much smoother and build ups neater.

Instead of you all to tell yourselves the truth, you will rather lie and cover up a deficiency that we badly suffered for years under Rohr. I can see you lots are more concerned with protecting your favs than wanting to see the team improve. It's just wicked on your parts really.

You guys don't know football at all. And that is me being kind.

So biko excuse me.

The dragging of Maduka Okoye on Twitter looks like hating to me

They had to wait for him to concede a Pk

Too bad from Nigerians
Nigerians were just eager to face him. Maduka has the talent but we're not helping him grow by picking on him unnecessarily because of sentiments.

other people’s opinion and observation doesn’t matter to him and he will try as hard as he can to make them irrelevant and stupid

All this is long epistle and Gibberish just to make a case for over hyped nwakali who did nothing tangible when introduced

An aribo who hv been among the best in the team after 2 games seem not to do much to him instead one smiggle looking mf who is yet to do anything tangible and who doesn’t deserve a place in the team at the first place is who is trying as much as he can to force down our throat with his cohorts

If not for favoritism no right thinking coach will overlook a whole frank the tank to give nwakali minutes

Respect is not brought about by age or achievements, brother.

You spoke to a player and his teammates in the dressing room then give him the go ahead to return to the pitch for the second half.

Rather than tell him he would be substituted for the second half, you tell him to return to the pitch.

Just when the player is already on the pitch and getting hyped for the half, you withdraw him before the referee even begins the half.

I've never seen this in a game before, and that's disrespectful regardless of age or achievements.
