I think that place is the biggest private residence in Lagos and should be one of the biggest private residences in Nigeria, if not biggest in NIGERIA.

Pearl1910:

Is it a private residence or a private estate. Cos some people no wan gree say private estates dey this Lagos so commissioner of police fit enter anywhere, anyhow, anytime.

It's a residence not an estate.

Something like what MICHEAL JACKSON has but in a much smaller version.

The one I entered is the one opposite radautoworks but I understand the one on the other side of the road towards Ajah by VJC junction or thereabout is kinda locked don't jnow if people live there but from my experience yesterday I think people live there because its so quiet and hidden somehow.

Good morning Guys, I no sleep last night, ebi like I go sell my office (car). My Honda Civic 2007 has been having power steering pump issues, the bolt always breaks, I am honestly tired of fixing it, without any permanent solution I will have to sell it. Please house who knows how to permanently resolve this.

Suffered same fate with you for 3 years same car model.

The rubbish made me brought down my engine 5 good times in those 3 years.

it was my worst nightmare on that car especially on trips that was outside my Convinence.

Honda did a bad design there!!!

Solution :

1. You will have thread that bolt hole to the next size (I think it's size 12) so you can use a bigger bolt for it.

2. Get a Belgium size 12 bolt (not a new bolt)

3. Get a nut for the bolt as what you will be doing now is pass and tight.

4. After bolting, use the nut to tight from behind.

That was how me and that car rest from mechanic hand for 1 year counting(done several inter state trips coupled with top speed and power steering pump still dey firm gidigba) , even some mechanic got tayad of me and the car.

N:B Make sure your tensioner and power steering pump pulley are in top notch shape because at a point it was still bending and breaking size 12 bolts before I came up with the pass and tight coupled with changing those parts that puts so much stress on that steering pump bolt.

In my case I changed both before doing the pass and tight on the power steering pump.

What was the outcome Barbie?

The man is tribalistic! After asking questions about the position and my experience, he was impressed with my response, atleast from the look on his face. Then he asked me where I am from, I said Enugu. He just shouted....."Ahhhh, omo Igbo(Igbo man)

I started speaking Yoruba. Told him I was born and bred here. He wasn't having it. He said I should stop speaking Yoruba to him. That I am still omo Igbo, that I don't have the passport!

He asked some other questions like: Do you have a car? Are you married? Etc.

After the interview, I knew I wasn't his choice, but the daughter (Raisa) assured me that I would get the job cos I'm her choice. She later called me that they got someone for the job, but I would have to be an assistant to the person. I accepted, but since then, I've not heard from her.

5 series of interview.
2 with the daughter
1 with the HR
2 with baba.

Each of them, they gave me 5k trans package, that's 25k.

Una don come again.
My civic 07/08 doesn't have such problem.
Still running stock motor and transmission.

Perhaps you must have replaced the stock power steering pump bolts during pump replacement, or one or more pulleys are different.

Apart from every other wear and tear that occurs with machine usage, the only downside of that model of civic is the low ground clearance; this also allows for better stability on high speeds.
