komekn: Mbok you are the professional here. There is a difference between kicking a long ball and doing it with intent, direction, and purpose. Omeruo and Ekong tried long balls yesterday. However, they were unnecessary. Some even untidy and inaccurate. There is an art that goes with it. |

Danielnino00: I paid a radio station in Benin for the publicity. For every news hour it was announced, I was charged. What you need do is to write the news about the outcome of the awards, post it and copy him (jubilantagida) in the post. Meanwhile I am still waiting for the edited version of the announcement so I can send it to a couple of media houses that will not charge us. 7 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: I think I have replied the point you made about Ndidi improvements when Nwakali came in. Ndidi was playing with so much confidence and conviction. Lol...well , I am not surprised, Nwakali will make you you enjoy your game. |

IDENNAA: Aribo is the natural CM support for ndidi. He is the fulcrum around which that midfield turns.. We are yet to see Aribo's full attacking potential because he has been burdened with defensive duties.. One of Nwakali's weakness is his work rate. If you put him in the midfield with Ndidi, his work rate will always let us down and this maybe ignored if he created bucket loads of chances which I am not sure he will do either because he does nothing to boost the attack... 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Hanibal: The explanation given he is the only quality Midfielder that Nigeria has acces to, that can do long balls and bring stability to the midfield. When did we start playing " police game" That is a complete aberration from truth and fact. We are starting a never do well over those who have done well in clubs and leagues much higher than his With the hundreds of Midfielder 4 Likes |

I am happy to inform you that Awaziem and Nwakali are the two players in this current team with the best passing range of all players. In Camp, it has been established already. Only that Awaziem nurses an injury now. safarigirl: 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: And all this you noticed because the coach was bad. The only reason the team has played well so far is because the new coach knows how to use players, it is not because Nwakali came and did anything special. It is just a difference in coaching and tactics. 4 Likes |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:26pm On Jan 16, 2022 |
Lol... you are still missing the point. TheGoodJoe is only pointing out why Nwakali was called up. We are not even there yet in the passing game as a team especially in the middle. What Eguavoen has done is found a bypass solution around our passing deficiency in the middle game by making us go more direct and utilise our wingplays to create chances at goal. Our passing in the middle still needs work. This is part of why he called up Nwakali. And we saw a fine glimpse of why he was called up with his display in 25mins yesterday. Remember, we have done well so far for the most parts but we were still out-passed by an Egyptian side we dominated in other aspects of the game thanks to our gengen press strategy. safarigirl: 4 Likes 3 Shares |

TheSuperNerd: Not really that impressive if we break it further down: *An attacking midfielder made 29 back passes into own half and 14 into opposition half. *I expect this posting from a DM. * Only 2 dribbles from an AM on for 65 minutes. * Long ball abilities is zero , of course. *Lost possession of ball 7 times...very poor and contributed to weak midfield. Anyways , I will give him credit for 8 ground duel won, 94% passing rate and 9 recoveries made. However , I am not impressed. |

Looolll... It is the other way round. Ndidi looked far better due to the entrance of Nwakali. His presence practically brought out the best in Ndidi for the final 25 mins of that game. That is an eye-test truth. komekn: 1 Like |

IDENNAA: Can you, sir Idenna highlight the changes he made? And please don't tell us about 94% accuracy pass he made.. He came in and made zero Interception, zero tackles, didn't win any possession, zero clearance, won no aerial duel and yet you said he made changes. |

It actually was due to Nwakali yesterday. He brought the calm and the balance in the middle game. Even Ndidi looked reborn with Nwakali’s entrance. Stating otherwise will be sounding highly untruthful. In all, credits to the technical crew for making the change. It was needed. safarigirl: 1 Like 1 Share |

This is the problem. GoodJoe and I do our best to explain why Nwakali could be vital for us and we make our case using highly analytical discourse. But Idennaa takes it over the top. So that is where you guys see the hypes but instead you pin it on us all and not just one person making those statements. See am? andrewbaba44: 2 Likes |
