it might be a problem with the software update issue. like I said, I'm suspecting it to be software issue or maybe you can check maybe a recently installed app might be the cause or a bad SD card.

ever since I bought my RN9 (128gb/4gb), I've been getting the best out of it. it's one of the best phone I've used. no issues at all. battery very good. camera is decent also, gcam is a beast.. even iPhone users are using my phone to take pictures I don't even bother to update it for once. I'm still using the version that came with the phone because of these wahala of software updates e.g battery drain, turning off, lagging and stuffs like that.

stock ROM version is still the best.. that's just the issue xiomi is still dealing with, their updates.. otherwise their mobile is a beast. I was even inspired by this thread to get my first xiomi device which is this .. below is a screenshot

you can download es file explorer pro to gain access.

it's normal, I guess you're using android 11.. it's Google that disabled user having access to those kind of files.

Just update your phone to the latest version and your story will change. You'll get extra 2gb of virtual memory amongst other things.

The update you're on is not the update the phone came with, you bought it fairly used so you probably don't know.
This basically means what you're enjoying and calling it stock ROM is actually an update, what do you have to say about this

ooooh, I don't know what else you can do ... you can try to check online for possible solutions or youtube. but I'm sure for rooted devices, it would be accessible but that's not advisable.

Samsung especially. and in as much that there may be false reviews and comments on GSM arena and other sources.. some too are right.. don't say all those comments are actually false or not true or all the people leaving the comments aren't using the devices .. this is just fact.

I actually even knew about the 9t and Poco M3 issues on GSM arena and other sources before getting to see it here on this thread.. Those were the device I wanted to get initially before settling on RN9 because of that series of complaints it has.. and some issues too people are facing similarly on this thread. so you can't say all those comments are false. and it's not just with xiomi brand, same with other brands.

Chief, I keep wondering why a particular OS update isn't available at the same time for all phones in a particular OEM's line up. Is that for E.G. Xiaomi will custom build a particular "MIUI 13 based on Android 12" for say RN 10 pro and build another version of the same OS tailor made for say Mi 11 Ultra? and as these different sets of the same OS are built, that's when they are pushed out?

Redmi note 10 pro users, who else noticed animated icons no longer works? Abi it's my phone that has issues.

Each device has its ROM. So firmware are built on device basis.

It's funny how someone who has never updated his phone for once would be speaking authoritatively on software update issues. An issue he's totally ignorant about experience wise.
