raumdeuter: You are just a pathetic liar. This was what I said. BikeMan: I corrected my mistake about the Spurs game as I forgot he was the one that partnered Saul. I don't blame you, you don't support any tangible team, that's why you hop from thread to thread looking for unnecessary agenda to stir. 5 Likes |

Segedinho: UCL final, UCL final that Pep went gung-ho meaning almost any ball you drop into City's half becomes a counterattack. Our midfielders didn't drop balls into attackers feet more in UCL final. They dropped less. The difference as I said is Pep is not naive anymore to leave City overstretched at the back. There is a difference between when attackers receive the ball for a 3 v 3 counterattack and when they receive it for a 3 v 5 counterattack. The attack will die more frequently or not be attempted. Not because our two CMs were splitting City open in the UCL final. That's arrant rubbish. The midfield job of giving the attackers ball on the halfway line was achieved more in this game than in the UCL final. The only difference is the quality of attacks from that point (as TT pointed out) and the numbers City left deeper to quash those counterattacks. Some blame the attack. I say it's a combination of poor attack but also the numbers Pep left behind . I am not the only one that noticed it. Also tell me how the midfield fared in this job in the first leg at Stamford Bridge which is the nearest and most appropriate comparator. You guys think everyday is Christmas and keep getting carried away with high expectations from last season, meanwhile Pep mumu done do and he's no longer exposing his teams to easy counters naively. Midfield did not do any better in UCL final, the difference is the control of space. You can't name one memorable ball Jogginghoe laid into the attack in that UCL final, and if you want to continue down this unrealistic line, tell me why he couldn't lay balls into the attack at Stamford Bridge in September which was worse than this performance. 4 Likes

Ibime:So according to u..pep was naive in d 3 encounter we had ![]() When TT said he had learnt his lesson..what was he talking about..??his approach was to contain city and never cared about creativity so he over-crowded d midfields with 3 non-creative minds... See...my opinion about d dead midfields in d just concluded match isn't solely on kova-kante ...it included both pulisic and ziyech who were too lazy to help out.... But the core of d problem was kovacic and Kante who were just below what was expected... Ziyech was dead in sync both d attack and d mid...Nobody was readily available to do a quickie with Kante ....... 5 Likes |

Segedinho: So you've gone from Jogginghoe absence being the cause to adding Ziyech and Puli to the mix. For the purpose of this discussion, Ziyech and Puli is part of the attack that failed in counterattack transitions according to TT, not part of the midfield. You said Jogginghoe was the one pinging balls to the attack but I'm sure you can't recall one such incident in the UCL final. What happens in the UCL final is Kante, Mount or Werner receive the ball on halfway line, they see City don't have many players back and they run. As far as them receiving the ball on that halfway line, we did not do more in the UCL final than we did yesterday. The chances to run were just less due to City controlling their backspaces, not because Jogginghoe was absent to play his 30 backpasses that have nothing to do with them receiving the ball on halfway line. Kova pass for Lukakus chance yesterday was more evidence of progressive play than anything you can recall from Jogginghoe in UCL final Anyway, TT disagreed with you, most observers disagreed with you, so you can say anything to console yourself about the absence of the jogger, it doesn't matter. 5 Likes

raumdeuter:Do you argue for a living? The games I was referring to were obvious. Did Jorginho start against City or did he start against Liverpool when we played 2:2. I don't have the time to explain obvious statements to someone that is neither a fan or rival please. |

Think4Yourself: Pls can you all allow this coaches to take responsibilities for once without bringing all this washed up stories in their defence? When the going is good we don't hear them but once there is a slip up, that when media will be cooking up stories and gullible fans will start spreading them around like you are doing. Let Ancelotti start having bad results now, that is when we would start hearing he wanted to sell modric in the summer and bring back ronaldo, exchange vinicius with mbappe but real Madrid board didn't agree. 4 Likes |

Ibime:Where did I said joginho absent was d reason we lost.. I said d midfield was damn cos both Kante n kovacic were shit and over powered... No one to receive d ball and do a quickie.. Ziyech n pulisic didn't help also... Also pointed out that a fit joginho would help in d quickie.... Oga o...u can lie o.....joginho with long ball ![]() Chances created disagree with ur d 2nd bolded. About our core mid...my favourite there is Kante.. closely followed by kovacic just incase u are thinking otherwise.. I defend and criticise any chelsea players depending on what dey play.. Xterday match was as a result of Kante and kovacic being conquered. I said from the onset that ziyech and pulisic didn't help out and were extremely lazy.. Joginho was absent and u are looking for way to blame him ..does that sounds normal ![]() You said TT blamed d attackers but when thesame TT praises joginho after a match ...u will disagree bringing gifs. Attacks will always be blunt when there isn't any help from d midfields..... Pulisic and ziyech didn't help out in d mid d way a fit mount does ... 5 Likes |
