I suffered GERD last year; every morning it got worse because the acid would always flow back to my oesophagus while I was sleeping. Breathing was a also a huge challenge because I was always having shortness of breath, so this is how I cured mine without medication.

- If you have a soft bed, then sleep on the floor with about two pillows to raise your head.
- Eat about three hours before going to bed and ensure you stay upright for about one hour after eating.
- Avoid smoking
- Reduce foods that can trigger heartburn.
- Drink plenty of water.

Just do this and in about 4 to 6 weeks, you'll be completely healed. GERD sucks.

Just mind what u eat. By now u should know what foods triggers it.

Beans, any food with pepper, alcohol ( even if u eat earlier enough and u take alcohol, it won't get better)

U see, drinking water is good o, but it is not always the best cos some foods won't get digested easily.
Eat, chill and drink water after like an hour or so.

Also, like someone said, u should start watching ur sleeping position. I suggest u start sleeping while sitting down.

I started searching about it online. I learnt foods to avoid and I’ve been avoiding them strictly. But stormed on a thread and i learnt a drug omeprazole which i bought and it was giving me relief and i also go out in the morning for road walk.
2days ago due to the persistence of the symptoms but it was actually mild which makes me scared and feel uncomfortable i went back to the pharmacy and the doctor there prescribed Cemitidine Injection and also gave me Clarythromycin and Amoxil which i take with Omeprazole. Ever since i started the clarythromycin and started feeling nausea and bitterness in my mouth.
Tonight got worst and it made me nearly faint as i was so week and i started feeling dry throat with lumps and couldn’t sleep up till this moment I’m just awake.
Please i need advise because I’m scared.
I try as much as possible to search food before i eat.
But since I started the clarythromycin recently it’s like it became worst.
Someone should help me.
