Felicity001: Baba, it's when you get into trouble and they help you, that's when you will know police is your friend. Some years back when I drove someone's car on bolt, I picked this lady from phase 2 Lekki, she was going to "bourdilon" I paid 300 at Lekki Ikoyi link bridge and when I got to the round about, the car stopped. Noticed it was fuel, cos the gauge was faulty. I begged the woman to chill for me to buy fuel, she refused and told me to end trip. I ended it and it came to 1200 or so. She said she will never give me 1200 cos I didn't get to her destination. She brought out 500 naira and I told her to go with it. The police guys at the round about came and asked me what happened. I told them and they told her to give me 1k. She refused. They said they would take us both to the station and they will make it a case. She eventually dropped 1k and they told me to take it. When I took bike to buy fuel, I didn't have any gallon. I met a guy at the filling station that gave me a 20/25 litre keg. After buying the fuel, he followed me on bike to collect his keg. After putting the fuel in the tank, I gave him 800( the change with me) this guy refused and said his money is 2k. We argued and the police guys at the round about came again. When they heard what happened, they told the guy that if he doesn't collect that 800 Sharp sharp, they would collect it and I will leave here free and nothing would happen. The guy collected the money angrily and left. I went to them later and thanked them. Told them I don't have cash on me again. They said I should not worry, that I should go n fix my fuel gauge 34 Likes 1 Share |

Gudvibes06: Yes...its normal. You we surely be demoralized because you failed to challenge the status quo. This life will not give you what you deserve unless you enforce your best out of it. I'm sorry, I do not know the level of your education, exposure and all, but it matters in present day Nigeria. You were asking for police plug the other time, how do you think those that have network with the police got it? Its mostly through challenge. Let me tell you bro, to make it in Nigeria... You must be ready yo challenge the system. If you perish you perish - Esther 4:16 My cottage shop was locked up on Thursday sometime in 2013, with padlocks of all sort, for breach of environmental sanitation laws. The shop was locked up hurriedly on Thursday even before the time lapses 10.a.m. Then , I was residing in Ibafo and my shop was along yaya abatan, Ogba. The Ijaiye LG quickly cooked up N40k fine(then ó, when bajaj motorcycle is being sold for N90k) I challenged them,I went to court at obawole, the conniving judge said make I go pay...I said lai lai...I called on a lawyer friend whom we both stayed in same hall back then, undergraduates. He served them court notice, summoned them to come to high court. Guess what, the following week my shop has been unlocked. Why? LG can't employ services of a lawyer. Ever since then, dem no near the shop till I left the place. My next line of action are the tow gangs at the MM airport, immediately fisayo soyombo and likes of Godwin Etakebuebu gives headway. I'll go gunz blazing on those idiots. So bottom line bro, don't be timid and docile. Fight in the face of oppression and tyranny. Don't heed to reprobate mind, who keep urging you to keep driving and moving Lagos. Rideshare is a side hustle, you need something inherent to make it to the next level. All the best. Don't be discouraged. 17 Likes |

Barbiturate: Aswear I just laugh when I see people generalise that all police are bad people. Haba na they can't be all bad. There was this early morning I dropped a friend inside villa, while coming out before that bridge that will take you to central area, I was being indecisive whether to follow up or down due to my carelessnes while I was contemplating, i didn't know that I was close to the ramp that will take me up the bridge then i change my decision and made a sudden turn to follow down. Before I know it my tire collided with the edge of the ramp and busted The policemen guarding the villa territory were watching all what's happening, so I came out of the car open my boot and wanted to change the tire while my car was blocking the main road down the bridge (where the president usually follows if he wants to go to Airport) unfortunately for me that same moment Buhari was planning to travel out and the security was kind of tight. When the police men and the guard brigade noticed that I spent almost 15 minutes with no progress three of them came towards me and saw how I was busy struggling with the the tire, ( the bolt was kind of very strong and I couldn't lose it) Luckily for me all of them were northerners, they ask me what's taking me so long Mr President might come out any moment from now (with a sympathy tone) shamelessly I told them I was finding it hard to change tire we were speaking in Hausa) They laughed at me saying "all this Ajebos we don't know how to do anything na just to chop and sleep for house" Wallhi that's how one of them jerk up the car, loose the tire and change it open my booth and put the damaged tire, his hands were completely greasy with dirt. I was really impressed and my narrative change about policemen, I don't know maybe because they were elite police or something but whether elite or not right from that day I developed special feelings and respect for policemen. Las las I open my pigeon box and gave him four 500 mints. He was very happy and appreciative 9 Likes |

Thanks for your concern bro, your advice is not bad but I don't have the balls for now maybe when the car becomes mine and also less life pressure. It would be a disaster if my car sleeps there for more than 24hours and I don't have a lawyer friend I'll have to contract one if need be, at the end of the day I'll be spending multiple of 10ks... Let me pay them 10k fix my papers and start moving Lagos again. Thanks. komodapson: 11 Likes |

chillex8: 3MB is too short. No way you can do over 120km/hr for uber and inside Lagos except the 3MB you mentioned which is very short compared to warri-ughelli-patani-bayelsa-ph 120 on this said roads would keep you creeping behind Gigm and agufure them not to talk about private cars. 1 Like |

seyicodes: Low arm uses ball joint as well... If it pulls out the ball joint is definitely bad, if not broken, then the thread is bad and don't even bother using it again, just get a tokunbo ball joint no buy all those Chinese New one o...since the shaft removed some of the end Boris will have rolled out, and you will need to search around the spot for it, if not na to buy replace be that and the thing na 2k each 1 Like |
