i am new here. Please I will be glad if someone can guide me on how to add documents you left out after an application have been submitted and how long does it take for it to be updated on your profile. I am a December applicant and only update so far is the request for my biometrics which has been done and updated on my profile. Thanks[/quote] 1 Like |

Good morning house, someone ask me a question though i have no answer to it but i believe this great room members will have answer to such question. The question is that the person has MBA in National Open University and is seeking PGD program in Canada, he want to know is chance of visa issuance, is there any academic progression in this? |

Flashcejay: Well, permit to say that you will have to reach out much more to the gurus here like lekiboboe, frank, micano, prolific and others for better understanding and necessary links (I don't have the links). But then i will advise you put some things into consideration like the course you had in your first degree being aligned with your intended in a DESIGNATED INSTITUTION(Algonquin College Ontario, Fanshawe College, Conestoga College, Uni of Alberta, Uni of Manitoba, Uni. of Ottawa,...) in Canada or your intended program being aligned with your present employment experience. Study gap Tution fee Total, available and sufficient finances on your study permit application and studies in Canada Available season (winter, summer, fall) for your intended program Your Sponsor Also, why Graduate Certificate and not Masters Degree(is it cos of 2:2 or you had 2:1 but preferred PGCert) You need to put all these into consideration before you start anything on study visa! I hope i dropped my little knowledge, i look forward to others to add more. Thank you! 2 Likes |

Masterlee13: You need to inform the school in writing that your visa was delayed by the Canadian immigration. In the email correspondence, you should attach a copy of the refusal letter to request for a deferral of your admission. It will end in praise 1 Like |

amby147: The tuition fees should be quoted for 1 year Room and Board = 10,000CAD Others = 3,000CAD Funds Available For My Stay = The total of the first year tuition, room and board, and Others, plus already paid tuition deposit. It will end in praise 4 Likes 1 Share |

giftedchild009: With an MBA degree seeking to pursue a PGD program in Canada doesn't demonstrate a logical progression. The applicant should apply for a Second master's different from the Intial master's. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by mrprolifik: 12:58pm On Jan 17, 2022 |
emmalextemtop: You wont be needing a new visa since you won't be travelling out of canada . Usually after your program you can stay in canada up till 90days ( if you dont plan to apply for a pgwp) or the expiry date on your study permit whichever comes first . But in your case since you intend to start a new program and it takes about 4months before the new program starts I would advice you stay for the 90day but before the 90days expires you apply for your study permit extension. Which usually takes a about 58days to process then as soon as it is ready you can start your new program. When applying for study permit extension in Canada you are usually not required by IRCC to show proof of funds. But just make sure you pay your school fees. And another advice to you is that you try to apply for your second program on time even before you finish the first semester of your first program. N:B immediately after you finish your first program you need to stop working if you are doing any part time job. Only start working again when you get your new study permit 7 Likes 1 Share |
