Good Day Everyone, Please I would like to know what next to do, attached is my application status. After sending several emails and webform as suggested on the platform, I finally got a response on the 5th on January from Nairobi and on the 10th of January from IRCC, attached is the response I got. My initial start date was 10th January 2022 but I had to Defer it to 7th March 2022. The following are my questions, 1. Should I upload my new Letter of Acceptance Via Webform and Email? 2. Should I also add my bank statement as well or it isn't necessary? 3. Is there any other documents I need to add as well? 4. Should I continue sending IRCC emails and webform even after the response I got? 5. Is there anyone who has my timeline of submission 6th September 2021, Medicals Passed 25th October 2021 and still waiting for a response/PPR from IRCC? Btw I have already done my Biometric from a visiting visa application in 2020 so I don't need it cause its still valid on my profile for 10years. Thank You for the anticipated Response. God Bless

mama12345: Hi, please see my response above. I hope this helps. Additionally, what i did based on my own experience and two of my friends i supported on thier application was to help in requesting for thier GCMS notes. This helped to determine if the application is going smoothly without issues. So, you can request for your GCMS notes to know what is going on with your application. All the best! |

Thank you for the response Olasubomy, it was really helpful. Yes I already requested for GCMS on the 4th of January, there is a wait time of 35days, its only been 13 days so I am hoping I get a PPR before the GCMS notes is out. olasubomy: |

mrprolifik: Oh whaoO, tnks so much Sir! 1) My program starts May this years ends Dec. The 90 days will be over end of March/early april next year but i love the second program to start May 2023, if the 90 days ends early april, will the study extension covers for the April before i start my second program? 2) will the study permit covers the time i wanted even if it is earlier than my academic start date? Can the permit be extended till 2yrs or 3? 3) tnks for the advice of applying for the second program early enough, but i don't want to use my 1st degree cert in Nigeria but my PGcert for Masters directly so it means i have to graduate from my first program and i thought applying jan 2023 for May intake. 4) do you know if admission in most Universities (like Uni of toronto, MGill, UBC..) will still be on in Jan, for May 2023? Or when do admission comes out? 5) and why do you say i should stop working after the first program? I should be able to work fully during the 90 days if my permit has not expired.... |

Hello, I think you should talk to the gurus in the house @makano, lekkiboboe, frankrobbn about this. They will be able to help you. The only advice I can give you is to get admission from a school (DLI) first (because that one is the most important) before you start the stress of visa processing. All the best to you. |

Hello Thanks to everyone keeping this platform Alive . I am new here and I would like to apply for study permit ,I got admission into fanshawe college ,and the course relates more to my work experience. I graduated in 2007 with a 2-1 and I have been working since them.My questions are as follows Can I do a post graduate certificate instead of a masters how do I defend this ,my reason is simply I can’t stress for a 2 year program when I can complete in a year,my years of experience would count for something if I need to get a job.(13 years) Can I apply with my kids ,I have 4 kids 3 are citizens and I am contemplating whether to go with the youngest who is barely 2 years I have an issue with my pof,I have it in an investment account and I hear Canada doesn’t accept investment accounts Can I liquidate into my savings account and explain in my sop or should I just send the investment certificate. My hubby is sponsoring but he prefers to pay the money into my account ,this would come in as a lump sum should I get a gift deed letter or just explain that he contributed towards my tuition. Finally, has anyone applied with a us citizen for study permit and got refused(asking because I am contemplating going with all 3 and leaving only one behind ) Thank you |

Dear Fellow Nairalanders, I am a second-time applicant, Reapplied on the 30th of October, 2021 with an up-front medical. Didn't get any update until I started sending them emails and sending web forms from the 9th of January to 14th and I noticed a Ghost update today and when I went into my profile, I noticed my Upfront Medicals has been updated. So, what other queries do I send to VOs and to who, Abuja or Nairobi ? 3 Likes |

I have tried everything. I just finished undergraduate studies in 2019. I went to law school from 2020 febuary- 2021 July and now I’m doing nysc but I’m not done. I have tried to fill it there but it keeps giving the same error Frankrobbn1: |
