I said it before that an Onuachu or Ighalo has no place in this present team. Neither does Sadiq (Poor man's Onuachu).

We need mobile CF's. Bring on Olayinka or Musa or Onyekuru immediately. Sadiq is a big error.

Anyway

Half Time Thoughts

Iheanacho is doing his best impression of Casper the Friendly Ghost

Iwobi has been decent

Ndidi also giving Houdini

Uzoho has been solid

Ajayi has been solid

Ebuehi has done his part, not quite giving the Aina runs, but physicality has not gotten the best of him

Nwakali with some really good crosses and his Free Kick was actually beautiful to see

Ejuke has had some good runs and that block towards the end was solid. Some of his crosses have been okay, but not much of an upgrade from Moses

Sadiq.....this one is better saved for after the match.

First half has been bland for us. The midfield is not midfielding

I trust Eguaveon to do the needful at Half Time.

Sadiq should not forget to enter bus with the Guinea Bissau players on their way home, I am sure they can drop him off in Adamawa

He's the kind of player this useless Sadiq needs no doubt. Only that he'd waste 3-6 chances before Vicmo begin dey go solo on goal. Eguavoen no try atall with this Sadiq starting.

Well, every player deserves a chance to prove themselves and It is now left to them to grab it
with both hands.

Besides, we need to assess him now as the tournament progresses to ascertain what he can bring to the team if brought in to help the team.

Nigeria denied a penalty. The referee failed to check VAR. I think the players should have complained

Sadiq is a colossal waste of space dude should never wear that shirt again
Dude is so sluggish and lazy one legged tall for nothing
Nwakali is really struggling to man that middle where I think Alex will do a better job
Eguavon should put his tactics in order the match is terribly lacking purpose

Decent first half although we allowed Bissau to grow towards the end of the game.

I've always defended Sadiq but I'm sorry I don't think he's ready for this level yet. He worked hard but his clumsiness on the ball broke down a lot of attacking moves plus his lack of composure probably cost him a goal.

Ejuke not his day so far could still grow into the game.

Nwakali has been decent. Should have had an assist in this game.

Overall I'm impressed with the performance of our defense and midfield. Uzoho hasn't had much to do.

I expect a better second half.

Mazi we have been playing them in first 35 mins
Just we don't have a striker . Taiwo would have helped the team get a score if he was in the field be it a build up play or strike

Sadiq just annoyed me this evening

Things would be different if we had scored.

Nwakali has given more than Iheanacho this first half, they should both remain till the 60 minute mark at least

The other one needs to go back to the hotel and pack his things, make Guinea Bissau bus no leave am.

Eguavoen is doing a very poor job today. There is no reason why we should not be putting pressure on these guys. What on earth do we have to lose? Why sit back for Guinea Bissau when you've qualified already?

Every Rohrish spirit possessing Eguavoen today hoooly ghooost......
We’ve qualified already. We’re playing a cautious game. We also want to avoid injuries or over working the guys. We’re good.

Collins was caught out of position twice. Got saved by Ejuke and Ajayi.

Ekong and Ajayi have done well in terms of ball distribution and also creating an extra man in midfield.

Sadiq obviously lacks confidence. He needs a psyche booster.

Iwobi is just magnificent with his passes. This guy has no business playing on the wings. Play him in the middle gaddammit angry . But I did love the connection between him and Ebuehi.

Iheanacho needs to play further up the pitch.

Nwakali is good but not as rugged as required in this match, I want Onyeka in, make we roll the HIT for back of bishops court.

They are a much better team than Sudan, I said this after I watched their first game against Sudan

This our fringe team even tried by keeping them this pegged

Our fringe team should be leading with a sharp striker

How much will it cost sadiq to take a CaB from the match venue to Nigeria?
He should not only exit the match venue but the whole of Cameroon entirely
In fact he should be detained on arrival in Nigeria tonight and investigated for how he made this team.

What is wrong with you people? Guinea Bissau come sell beans ni? They obviously need a win here. We have been decent. We have created good chances. You are talking as if we have had the ball for the entire first half. We have been ok when we had the ball, and the Bissau Guineans obviously no come watch us play.

Not exactly, although he hasn’t been too bad today.

Positives
- set plays
- near inch perfect passes

Negative(s)
- doesn’t closedown opponents or dominate the midfield like a true CM
