When you tell people there is value in background check of your driver and domestic servants generally, they turn their noses up. Her story about planning to do the BC is hogwash and now what is the value of less than N50k to do her proper profiling compared to the millions lost.....the lady may already be outside Nigeria; Cameroon is just beside Cross Rivers 5 Likes 2 Shares |

gulfer: Anyone doing house-help job is already from a disfunctional background (POVERTY). Even a saint can be threaten or persuaded to steal if they mistakenly talk about the 'tresure box' their boss hides in his room. I would rather have a safe in a restricted room than pay 50k so someone Google the name of a villager. 1 Like |

The domestic aide really cashed out. Why would I have that much cash and valuables at home, and being able to afford so much, not have top notch security for my funds. Moderate security safes are not expensive to buy (50k - in naira ó - will get you a very good one). These safes can be set in the most inconspicuous places possible in your room. Even if the intruder is lucky enough to locate the safe, to crack it open is another round of wàhálà. In fact, as the first level of security is attempted on the safe like this, I already have alarms blaring all over the house and an alert on my cell phone. Then the gateman is talking trash like he didn't see her leaving. Shey the yèyẹ́ madame no get CCTV for her citadel or mansion ni? Or is the house help a ghost that will just vanish into thin air? I can say all these because these are deterrent measures that I have operative in my own home and I don't even have a house help or even own a citadel sef, na just humble building. I think she deserves all these for not being security conscious. And I'm even led to belive that she has a lot of lies abkut the things stolen in her story. Kobicove: You said my mind. It is gross irresponsibility to flaunt wealth before domestic staffs or even anyone for that matter. They may even belive you're worth more than you have. She should just be thankful that the lady did not unleash armed robbers or kidnappers on her but decided to go the way of least bloodshed. 4 Likes |

Stealing is stealing, am not trying to justify her action but what goes around comes around. What business does her boss do? How much is her monthly salary? For her to keep almost 14million in the house means she has hundreds of millions in the bank. 1 Like |
