Hehehehehe.... Onuachu that still has a place even after this Afcon.

Post-Afcon, it would be Osimhen back to continue in his place as #1 Striker and then Awoniyi battling Onuachu for #2 spot.

Sadiq, Moffi, Dennis are also in the mix but Awo holds the team synergy edge now over them.

Oga himility is saying onuachu is here to stay where grin

No worry another matter no Dey

Yes because Tunisia has a superior goal difference compared to Comoros. Comoros has -2 as goal difference.
BTW Gambia cannot beat Tunisia though. Tunisia would likely win that game, I am tempted to say definitely. But no matter what happens, Group F already has a 3rd place team.
you say??

They are heavily biased and tribalistic people, especially when they manage to enter spaces they normally would not enter.

Anyway, they should enjoy him as long as they can, because that disastrous player will not be returning to the Super Eagles when the regulars are back.

grin

I am really happy that the coach is from South South and not from SE/SW so no hand pointing or accusations of him been tribalistic
Any way thats their problem

LOL @ … this one is named Astrid as a younger, more subtle version of the legendary Komekn.

You really have your way with words, Nerdie. That one really got me loling.

You know, in DC even Darkseid was known by another name when he was younger. UXAS.

So this one is named Astrid as a younger, more subtle version of the legendary Komekn. grin

Their biased and half-truthed analyses connect the dots. Lol

A quick question

Y is a Mexican referee officiating an afcon match?...

because the globalists used the ref that blew whistle before 90mins to penetrate CAF and control the officiating of some matches.

If you question them they'll use that referee that blew before 90 mins to say Africans can't officiate a competitive match.

Stop creating excuses for the underperformance of the north African teams...

North African teams have been schooled and flogged in this competition.

If we make it to the AFCON final, whether we win or loss, it's very likely we take the number one spot on the FIFA ranking for Africa..All the teams above us in the ranking have dropped points to weaker oppositions...that works to our advantage... Tunisia are another strong opposition ranked above us.. If we beat them, it's more points for us

Nwakali has a good game though
But as regards to set piece we have nothing much to lose, Simon Moses is a very good setpiece take, I think he gave to corner assist last season, one to omerou and another to ekong against Tunisia.
Nwakali is just so lucky to playing around hardworkers like ndidi and ajayi, cos ajayi pushed forward, the duo was able to cover up for his poor workrate, just like kante/kovavic cover up for jorgihno, and just in case we are playing against an high pressing team, make any coach no just try play nwakali grin grin or else that one go dey catastrophic, but as regards to orchestrating, conducting of the midfield he is good I will never rate him highly in passes, his passes were low for an acclaimed 'elite midfielder' though he has the highest passes but I was looking forward to a Thiago alcantra or jorgihno kind of play but work rate wise and off the ball movement were just so poor. I rate 6/10. My candid opinion though
cheesy

Simon is not a good set piece taker....by the way his delivery is still poor. He is , however, a good dribbler with enormous energy and stamina. End product is still poor!!

As long as Tunisia doesn't beat Nigeria especially the way they're giving out cheap penalties against west African countries..

The only thing that can make Tunisia strong is the referee, penalties for tunisia and red cards...

North African teams are no where near West African teams level ( Nigeria Senegal and Ivory coast) and west African teams are young so west African dominance is going to last for at least the next 8 years

Nigerian vs Tunisia is 50/50.

Both team have a history of rivalry.

The better side who is more hungry will win.

And I hope that's Nigeria.

I trust Eguavoen that we will be taking each team as they come seriously. We are not the kind of team that settles for a draw. We have an insatiable appetite to score. That attitude is needed esp in the knock out phase. No room for yeye penalty shoot outs. The path seems clear to the final. Ivory Coast will have their revenge and we will battle them for the final spot.

TheSuperNerd:
More like a strong possibility if Tunisia does beat Gambia and Mali does the Lord's work vs Mauritania.

I am just excited for Comoros. They will be in the second round afterall after their giant killing display vs Ghana. What a tournament they are having.

I implore Eguavoen and the team to not underestimate Tunisia. Do not be deceived by their weak performances. Just like how we switched it up to defeat Cameroon and SA after our loss to Madagascar, Tunisia can do the same.

We need two subs. Onyeka in for Nwakali or Nacho. Olayinka in for Sadiq.

If there is one thing Eguavoen as a coach is better than Rohr in, it is making the right substitutions at the right time.
