According to Jos-based intermediary Babawo Mohammed, ex-Porto youth-teamer Jacob Njoku and Gee Lec Football Academy winger Suleiman Muhammad caught his eye during a test game but a decision on whether or not the players will be offered deals has not been made. “They finished the trials this Sunday, Liverpool will have to go through the report before deciding whether to sign them,”said Babawo Mohammed to allnigeriasoccer.com. “I watched one of their trial games, they all did well, most especially Suleiman and Njoku. They will return to Nigeria next week.” If eventually they are offered contracts, the youngsters will join the likes of Sheyi Ojo, Jordon Ibe, Tiago Ilori and Ovie Ejaria, who all have Nigerian descent, on the books of the Reds.
