Mujtahida: Unfortunately if you can't do it week in week out in your club and league with all the facilities, coaching staff , sports scientists ,etc After probably several seasons of first team football. Then you think 3 weeks in the SE will make you a master at it, l doubt this very much. I've seen Ademola do left and right foot crosses routinely, same with Aina . It's really a basic requirement for most player's whatever the position but an absolutely must have for a winger / wing back . In nearly all academies this is taught at the most early level. 3 Likes 1 Share |

JohnBullMySon:Bro... rarely will you see a girl who is so good when it comes to football analysis and I admire her for that. But her frequent posts about how maduka is fine, how people are gushing in him blah blah blah... That is somewhat ridiculous. I mean, nothing bad in gushing about someone's attractiveness but it becomes a problem when done almost every minute especially in a football thread like here and in the middle of a tourney. Like ....are we so starved of reasonable topic to discuss? 6 Likes 1 Share |

humility33: Ask yourself something why does it take so long ONLY where Nigeria is concerned for a simple administrative change of allegiance with FIFA. Other countries it takes less than 3/4 weeks other countries in Africa being Sierra Leone Caulker and Cote d'Ivoire (Zaha and Boga ) When you can find an answer to that . I will tell you that the greater fault is with Nigeria. When we invited Nwakali to play in an inconsequential friendly with Athletico Madrid Eze was already making waves when Nwakali had not even made a splash. It took Nigeria three years to remember him, in that period England came calling. Meanwhile waiting in the wings were Oviemuno and lorfa and a few others. We actually do our inviting on the pages of newspapers we don't do much in creating relationships with players. And yes I've talked to quite a few of these players, so it's not hearsay. 1 Like |

komekn:I don't fancy these ekuke wingers we have who ALWAYS dribble their way into the opposition's danger zone. It's requires too much effort. A beautiful cross can do damage without all that effort. Look at how Iheanacho's pass took out three - four GB defenders. If Lookman has this in his locker I would like him to be on the right wing and Moses on the left. Ejuke and Chukwueze can be subs. 1 Like |

Icon4s: I would not say so , they have just not been so successful in recent times. And don't get on our high horse's, Ndidi failed an MRI scan in 2013 and had to leave the squad. |

mostob:I get your point very clearly but just understand that you are a man, she is a woman. Difference dey. You know, sometimes you have to see things from another's perspective. Some men do behave similarly when it comes to women's football. In fact, men do worse by bodyshaming the ugly ones. Lastly, it's not really been as frequent as you're saying. When something starts to annoy someone, he begins to take note more often . 3 Likes 1 Share |

Some Monikers are damn funny on this Thread. We top our Group with 9pts, conceded just a Goal (pk), yet we shouldn't be optimistic or confident of destroying Tunisia that couldn't make it to the next stage honorably, rather pitifully tagged along. If our Players are having this kinda defeatism Mentality, we wouldn't have made to the next Round like Ghana. Defeatist should calm down for Triumphalist. We've got to keep the Confidence as Fans, coz it has become a Catalyst, a big Push, great Motivator for the Boys and their Handlers. Tunisia should be ready to be barbecued. Our Eagles ain't carthage but super. 10 Likes |

Oasis001: Even if Super Eagles surpass Algeria unbeaten record, and become Real Madrid of Africa, many will still carry the flag and banner of pessimism proudly. The disappointment in the past is now a strong mathematical constant whenever the team is involved. Its even across all sports. Tunisia will be quaking cos they don't even have their team A right now. I dunno how they'll do it. But Eguavoen has never really failed vs North African teams as far as i remember. |
