How To Make Money Publishing Books On Amazon In 2022 by Nobody: 11:49pm On Jan 06, 2022 |
I never wanted to create a thread on this topic since there are already existing threads on “How to Publish a Book on Amazon” and I have been sharing my knowledge and experiences on this business model on those threads. However, I eventually decided to shed more light on this topic because of the bombardment of my email account with a minimum of 25 emails daily with questions on what Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing is all about and how to make money from it. As a successful Self-Published Author on Amazon with 8 published high-content Nonfiction books generating thousands in USD from paid royalties from Amazon KDP, I will be doing justice on this subject by sharing valuable information’s as well as providing the necessary steps involved in self-publishing, including planning, marketing, writing/editing, and promoting. I will also be answering any questions asked, so feel free to ask your questions on the subject in discussion and you can also send me an email just like others from the threads I have contributed immensely on about publishing on Amazon. Why You Need to Consider Publishing a Book on Amazon Amazon is now the biggest and most trusted online marketplace on the internet and with Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), you can self-publish your book on Amazon and start making money even without you writing the book and you don’t have to be a writer and you don’t need to have any prior experience before you can publish a book on Amazon. There are many different online methods for making money but publishing books on Amazon is one of the most under-utilized and potentially profitable. In fact, making money by publishing books on Amazon is probably one of the best ways to live the ‘passive income’ dream. This is an opportunity to make money while you’re sleeping, while you’re on holiday, or while you’re busy with other tasks. Different people have different reasons for writing a book. Some of them have a great idea for a book, often a fiction book, and they have always wondered if they could really write and publish it. It could be a life-long dream. There are other reasons as well, and ones you may not have thought of. Increase Authority: If you are a coach, online business owner, trainer, or niche blogger, writing a book is a fabulous way to improve your perceived authority in your field. In our society, authors enjoy high status. Writing a quality book automatically increases your authority in your field. Grow your audience: Adding a book to your business model is just another way people can find you and the advice they seek. Increases your income: A book is just another way to offer your expert advice to a wider audience that is looking for help. It gives you a way to help more people and bring in more income while you do it. Create a career: Not a coach, online business owner or blogger yet? Or maybe you don’t want to do those things, but you want to share your knowledge or creativity with the world while making a good living at it. Many people are now making a full-time living writing and self-publishing books. If they can do it, so can you! But What if I’m Not a Writer? Many people want to write a book or even become an authorpreneur (an author who builds a profitable business out of his books). Remember, self-published authors must be business-minded individuals that are laser-focused on building and nurturing the publishing business to the point where it becomes profitable and self-sustaining. Before I became a self-published author on Amazon, I have never written any book in the past nor published any book. My expertise and background had nothing to do with publishing. Being a stellar writer isn’t the most important skill you need to have to be a successful self-published author! The content is what’s so important. Your main job will be to provide the details of what your book will be and then hire a ghostwriter to do all the work for you. A ghostwriter will write the book with the details you provide. This is a better option for non-fiction than fiction, however. If you want to improve your authority and have an additional income stream by self-publishing a book, but don’t want to do any of the writing, consider hiring a ghostwriter. Now that you’ve got a glimpse of how self-publishing a book can be very beneficial to you, let’s get started with knowing the processes involved in creating a great book that will generate so much money for us for so many years down the road. |

1. BOOK NICHE & KEYWORD RESEARCH The first step in the publishing process is to decide on what your book is going to be about. There are 4 main things to consider which is exactly what I teach my students: 1. Your goals with publishing 2. Your interest or knowledge in the topic/niche 3. Are there potential to create more books on that niche? 4. What is the Profitability of the topic? There are various strategies that can be used in other to determine if the topic meets the 4 listed criteria above. There are paid and free tools that can also be used to expedite this decision-making process and the Amazon search bar happens to be one of the best free tools to use. In the publishing world, the process of doing research to figure out the topic of your book is called “keyword research”. This is not about figuring out what is going to be in your book. Niche: This means a segment of a market (e.g Health & Fitness) Sub-niche: This is a more specific and segmented part of a niche (e.g Weight Loss) Topic: This is What your book is all about which can also be referred to as your main keyword or just keyword (e.g Intermittent Fasting) The Importance of Keyword Research Picking the right topic for your book is incredibly important because it could ultimately make or break the success of your book. Picking the right topic is not everything, it’s still just a piece of the puzzle. But if you choose a bad topic for your book, it’ll be an uphill battle trying to sell it and, if you choose a topic that is proven to be highly profitable for other publishers, that does not make it a guaranteed success by any means. One of the Strategies for finding the right keyword for your book is to compile a list of topics then evaluate if they are profitable and then eliminate the unprofitable ones and then proceed and create a book with the ones you have determined to be profitable. I'm very certain that you are wondering how do you determine which keywords are profitable? One of the simple ways to find a profitable keyword is to type the keyword on amazon's search bar and see the number of search results that shows up. Take, for instance, you type in the keyword "weight loss" on amazon's search bar and hit the enter button and you get over 100,000 search results. This high search result is an indication that it is very competitive and as a newbie, you stand no chance of getting your book seen organically if you proceed to create a book with such keyword. Let's assume you searched the same keyword on amazon's search bar and it came back with a search result that is 500, this means that the competition is very low and it is a green light to proceed and create a book with that keyword since the search volume is low. Anyways, that's not the only criteria since not all low search volume keywords are profitable. It is always better to see a practical demonstration on how it is done so you can replicate exactly what you are watching and get it right from the onset. The program I created shows you more than 1 strategy to do effective keyword research and determine the profitability of a topic or keyword even before you proceed to create your book. Check it out and get started right away through the link below: https://amazon.publishing-income-academy.com/ Why publish in the same niche? When you publish in the same niche, you can collect your readers’ emails and follow up with them about your other books. It is like subscribing to someone's youtube channel, and every time someone you’re subscribed to on YouTube releases a new video, you get notified and get to be the first one to see everything they release. As a subscriber, you want these notifications and want to stay up to date because you’re a fan of their content. Same with your readers. They like your work and want to stay in touch with you. 1: Repeat customers - 1 person can buy 1 book or 1 person can buy 5 books. 2: Books will work together and literally sell each other. 3: When you publish a new book, you can send an email blast to your email list that your new book is available and this will create a big influx of sales on launch day. You can also ask for reviews. This is how you build a BIG and powerful publishing business. In our next discussion, we will be examining how to create our book Outline & Title. 1 Like 1 Share |

2. OUTLINE / BEST SELLING TITLE Here’s what we cover: 1: What is a book outline? 2: What makes a great book? 3: Structure of a book 4: How to do content research for your outline WHAT IS A BOOK OUTLINE? A book outline provides a chapter by chapter overview of what will be covered in your book. It’s like a roadmap for your book. IMPORTANCE OF YOUR BOOK OUTLINE While you obviously won’t be writing your book except otherwise, you will still be playing a big role in creating it. One of those big roles is writing the outline for your book which your writer will follow to write your book. Don’t worry, it’s not difficult, It’s like writing a short research paper for school. Writing your book outline is one day of hard work. The reason for your book outline is to create a good book! Just know that if you don’t write an outline for your writer to follow (or you write a lazy one), your book is going to suffer and it’s probably going to turn out bad and in that case, your publishing business is done before it even starts because building a business around a bad product is the #1 indicator of a publisher that won't succeed in this business model. WHAT MAKES A GREAT BOOK? It’s really important to understand that people buy your book because they believe you have the solution to their problem(s) and that's what makes a good book. Conducting customer research to figure out what their problems are is one great way towards creating a book that solves your reader’s problem(s). The purpose of your book is not to entertain, it is to educate. So it doesn’t need to be some fancy masterpiece. If you put time and effort into your book, creating a good book is actually a lot easier than you think. STRUCTURE OF A BOOK All non-fiction books follow a similar structure and every book you create will be structured this way so that your book is presented in an organized manner for readers. 1. Table of contents (TOC) 2. Introduction 3. Body chapters 4. Conclusion 5. Resources 1. TABLE OF CONTENTS Purpose: Get prospective customers and readers excited about the content. You would be surprised how important your table of contents is. Your book does not depend on it, but a great TOC will sell more books, get your book read more and make you more money. A compelling TOC could be the difference between a sale and no sale. It’s about knowing consumer behaviour. 2. INTRODUCTION Purpose: Prove to the reader that this book is worth reading. It must answer the most important question: “Why should I read this book?” First impressions matter a lot and the introduction is the most important part of your entire book because it is what convinces (or doesn’t convince) the reader to read the rest of your book. (People will read it before they buy.) How do you prove in your introduction that your book is worth reading for them? • Hook the reader • Show that you understand their problems • Show them the benefits of a solution • Get them excited about what they’re going to learn • Why you’re the right person to learn from 3. BODY CHAPTERS Purpose: Inform, educate and deliver the content of the book. You should have 6 to 8 body chapters (3k to 5k words per chapter) and this is going to be the bulk of the work with your outline. You will be finding the content you want to be covered and the resources the writer should use and it’s not difficult, it’s just like doing research for a school paper and most of the resources for your book outline can be found in goggle. 4. CONCLUSION Purpose: Summarize the book in a short and concise manner and provide a call to action. The reader has already read your book, so all you need to do is wrap things up and tell the reader what to do next. The conclusion should be the shortest chapter in the book. End with 2 CTAs: 1. Now that you have all the tools, go out there and use them. 2. If you enjoyed the book, kindly leave a review on Amazon. 5. RESOURCES End the book by citing all the resources used to create the book in APA format. Your writer will do this. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT BOOK OUTLINES I’m not an expert and don’t feel qualified to create a book about *The Subject*... HELP! You don’t need to be an expert in the way you are likely defining the word (top of the industry knowledge). To be qualified to create a book on a topic that helps your readers, you just need to be able to help your readers and you don’t need to be an expert to be able to help someone. Example: I'm by no means a conventional author like Wole Soyinka nor Ngozi Chimamanda Adichie, but I have self-published some really good books that are selling on Amazon that have helped a lot of people. Be rest assured that after one day of research, you will have enough “expertise” to help your readers. You are not claiming to be an expert. You are claiming to be someone who can help the reader, which you are. Click on this link to learn more on how to get started: ->>>> https://amazon.publishing-income-academy.com/ BOOK TITLE Choosing your book title is one of the most influential steps in the publishing process and Your book title should be able to appear and rank for the best search terms on Amazon. This is known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is everything when it comes to people finding and buying your books and with poor SEO, not many people will be able to find your book unless you are running ads and good SEO book titles will make your book sell automatically every day. Appearing and ranking for a keyword is as simple as including the keyword in your title. When creating your book title, the first step is to find these keywords (or related keywords) to include. You will build out your title around these keywords and in other to find the related keywords to include in your title, you need to know what keywords people are searching on Amazon. Amazon auto-suggestions tell us the exact words that real people are using and putting into Amazon to search for the book they want, therefore you must pick and choose the keywords to build your title around. Your book title must be able to grab people’s attention and make them want to buy your book. It’s an art, not a science. In our next discussion, we will be examining how to create a quality book. 1 Like |

3. WRITING A QUALITY BOOK You can write your own books by yourself or hire a ghostwriter to write your books. Advantages of Writing Your Book By Yourself 1. It eliminates the biggest expense in publishing. Self-written books allow people with little (or no) money to actually create and sell a product online and make money. It’s an unheard-of opportunity. For some people, this might be your only option right now and that’s okay! If you can’t afford a ghostwriter right now… THAT’S OKAY! Lack of money to invest is not a reason to not take action. 2. Get the ball rolling quickly because of the sheer amount of action you can take. You can produce more books while your ghostwriter(s) are writing. You aren’t capped by the amount of work your ghostwriter(s) can do or how much money you have to invest. You can build up a portfolio of 4-8 books relatively quickly and start creating some cash flow that you can further use to reinvest into more books, ads etc. If you ever find yourself waiting around for people to deliver work to you… go write! Writing books yourself is the fastest route to $1k, $3k, $5k/month. There is little financial risk involved because you are investing your time, not your money. So go crazy and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. GUIDING PRINCIPLES WHEN WRITING BOOKS YOURSELF #1 - CREATE A SERIES: A series of books can be incredibly powerful when done correctly because each book’s success feeds all the other books in the series. Doing a series allows you to “templatize” your first book and write new books quickly. #2 - BE CREATIVE: Be an innovator instead of a copycat. Copy concepts, not ideas. Take something that’s working and put a unique twist on it. These books are free to write, you got nothing to lose other than some of your time so if you don’t know if it will work… just try. #3 - DON’T SACRIFICE QUALITY: Sacrificing quality is shooting the future you in the foot. 1 extra hour of work to make sure something is done better could mean hundreds or thousands of dollars down the line. Your customer feedback (reviews) will determine if a book will continue to sell or die out. USING A GHOSTWRITER TO WRITE YOUR BOOK This is another option you can use if you decide not to write your book by yourself. What is a Ghostwriter? A ghostwriter is hired to write books (or other written content) that is officially credited to another person as the author. The ghostwriter writes the book, but the idea is your own and the book is published under your name/pen name. You own the book 100% in every way shape and form. The ghostwriter has no legal right to your book. Ghostwriting is common practice in the writing industry. Hiring a Freelance Ghostwriter How it works: You make a job posting on a freelance platform like Upwork, collect applications from interested writers, create a shortlist of applicants, interview your shortlist, and then hire the best ghostwriter and work with them 1-on-1 on your book. WHICH PATH SHOULD YOU TAKE? Use a ghostwriting company if… • You are a beginner and you know you easily become discouraged by problems and challenges • You are a beginner and feel super overwhelmed about creating your first book • You want the path of least resistance and are okay with probably sacrificing some quality • You can only put in 10-20 hours/week on your publishing business (job, family etc.) Hire a freelance ghostwriter if… • You aren’t afraid of the extra time and work that comes with it • You are fully committed to publishing and want to go the extra mile to get great books written • You are strong-willed and not easily discouraged. You have the “nothing will stop me” mindset • You have experience, have published a few books already and want to publish better books • You are on a strict small budget There are many websites you can use to hire people on but the best place to hire a writer is on Upwork. Upwork is an online freelancing platform where businesses can meet and hire people. HIRING INTERNATIONAL WRITERS You absolutely need to hire a native English speaker, but a lot of people don’t know what a native English speaker means. A lot of people think that means someone from US/UK/Canada. A native English speaker is someone who’s has learned and used English from early childhood. There are many countries outside of the US/UK/Canada where people learn and use English every day. • Philippines, Malaysia • South Africa (best reputation for writers) • Spain, Portugal and most of Europe • Argentina Sadly, parts of Africa like Kenya & Nigeria to a large extent have a bad reputation for plagiarizing. Interestingly, my ghostwriter is from Nigeria and I did groom him to write exactly how I want my books to be written. You cannot judge someone’s English or writing ability by where they are from. You must judge writers by their actual written work. WHEN THE WRITER IS DONE WRITING It will take 2-6 weeks to get your book written and delivered to you by most ghostwriters. When that happens you still need to proofread, edit, check for plagiarism and format your book before it is final and ready to publish. We will discuss how to proofread & edit your book for the next lesson. 2 Likes |

4. PROOFREADING & EDITING So you’ve finished your book… now what? The next step is one of the most tedious and important aspects of publishing a book—self-editing. Sure, almost all self-published authors will hire an editor in some capacity. Before that step, you do have to edit the book yourself and only yourself in other to eliminate obvious errors and minimize mistakes in the manuscript before getting the services of an editor who will now provide corrections on the things you missed. Why do we need to self-edit our books? After completing a rough draft, it’s very tempting to immediately hire an editor and hand over your manuscript but no writer can state their rough draft is the very best of their work. An editor will surely help improve a manuscript, but before placing that rough draft in an editor’s hands, each writer should be able to answer yes to the question: “Did I make this manuscript as strong and as good as I could have?” There’s no way the answer to that question is yes after only writing the rough draft. Take pride in your work and make sure it’s your best before someone else reads it. As a writer, you’re probably a voracious reader, but you can never be a true reader for your book. By bringing forth a book into the world, you’re asking other people to read something you’ve never read. If you sincerely want the book to be the very best that it can be, then you must read it first and then ask someone else to read it. You owe it to your book, to yourself, and to your readers. When should you hand your manuscript over to an editor? It’s difficult to answer this question without first addressing what an editor actually does. Editors can review the content of your writing (characterization, pacing, plot, etc.), which is often referred to as content editing; the form of your writing (the grammar, the punctuation, etc.), which is often referred to as copyediting; or both. (By the way, proofreading is indispensable, but it’s the final step of checking for typos and other glitches once the book is ready for print—any writer who thinks that proofreading is editing is in grave danger of getting ripped off.) How to Start Self-Editing The self-editing phase will include re-reading your book at least three times. Self-Publishing School calls them verbal read-throughs. With each one, you will be looking to address different aspects of your writing. In the self-edit of my own published books, I use three different types of read-throughs such as: 1. Reading for structure 2. Reading for readability 3. Reading for grammar and word choice Following the three different types of read-throughs and reading them out loud will enable you to make your book as good as you can. #1 – Read for Structure Remember that great mind map and book outline you constructed before even beginning to write the rough draft? It’s time to break those back out. As you begin to re-read your manuscript chapter-by-chapter, follow along with your outline as well. This will allow you to make sure every detail is in the right place and nothing is missing. This is how you can structure your self-edits for chapters and those chapters on your outline and in your book should all have a clear and concise topic. #2 – Read for Readability After double-checking the structure of your book, the second read-through should ensure every chapter, every paragraph, every sentence and even every word makes sense. Ask yourself these questions when editing for vague details or over-explained thoughts: *Did I gloss over any details that a beginner to my topic might not know? *Did I forget a vital detail to a personal story in my memoir? *Does it feel like I’m bogging down my reader with unnecessary details not important to my overall point? *Keep these questions in mind during the second read-through of the self-editing stage. #3 – Read for Grammar and Word Choice As you may have guessed, the first two read-through steps are making revisions to your manuscript. In this last step, authors will be performing both edits and revisions. Once you’ve nailed down your book’s structure and readability, you’re now ready to double-check grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation. Do I really need to hire an editor or proofreader? I've gone over the manuscript many times myself. Before you buy a used car from someone, do you inspect it yourself and say it’s fine, or do you take it to your mechanic for a thorough check? Obviously, you let a professional handle it. They know what to look for to ensure that this car you’re spending money on will last the journey. It’s better to pay money now than to realize later on that you messed yourself over. Listen, you are the author of your book. No one can understand it quite as you do. And no one has spent more time on it than you. But that also means your head cannot look at your writing objectively. Putting it aside for a time certainly helps, but nothing can compare to having objective eyes look at it—eyes that have been trained to see what needs improvement and fixing. I’m not just talking about grammar and spelling. Editing is much more than that. There’s voice, structure, consistency, theme, showing vs. telling, and so much more. The idea of paying for an editor or giving over your precious writing to someone can be difficult. But you don’t want to regret anything down the line. Your book deserves to be handled by a professional. Do I need a proofreader? This is a question many new authors have, and it’s an important one. Do you really have to hire an editor and a proofreader? Like, really? Here’s what a proofreader does: quality control. A proofreader looks through the book after it’s already gone through rounds of editing. The manuscript at this point should be 95% clean—almost no mistakes. The proofreader catches the little errors that slipped through the previous rounds of editing, ensuring a quality book. Having a proofread after it’s been typeset is really helpful; the proofreader can see what the content looks like when everything’s been laid out and thereby catch mistakes that cropped up during typesetting. So yes, it’s really important to have your book both edited and proofread. Sure, the proofread seems like an extra expense, but it’s really not. You’d be surprised by the blatant errors proofreaders catch. Again, your book deserves professional treatment. Inside Amazon Publishing Income Academy, you will learn a simplified way on how to edit and proofread your book by yourself and how to also find professionals to edit and proofread your book if you decide to go that route. LoveThemChubby: You can find the imprint of the book by looking at the back of the Title Page. It should contains everything you need to know about who wrote the book, who the publisher is, how you can contact them, where the book was printed, what the ISBN is. Thanks. |

byrron:Ok thank you. But from what I noticed as can be seen from the image, the imprint is expected to be a number just like the ISBN
|
Re: How To Make Money Publishing Books On Amazon In 2022 by Nobody: 10:12pm On Jan 14, 2022 |
LoveThemChubby: We are saying the same thing. The number is the codification of the entire informations of everything you need to know about who wrote the book, who the publisher that is associated with the ISBN which can be yourself, it can be a publishing company you create yourself, or it can be a ficticious name that isn't even a business at all. Thanks. |
Re: How To Make Money Publishing Books On Amazon In 2022 by LoveThemChubby(m): 9:04pm On Jan 15, 2022 |
byrron:Ok sir. But how can one locate the imprint especially for books that have been published already? |
Re: How To Make Money Publishing Books On Amazon In 2022 by Nobody: 9:52pm On Jan 15, 2022 |
LoveThemChubby: The name of the publishing company that issued the ISBN of the book is the imprint. Therefore, to locate the imprint of an already published book, simply look for the name of the publishing company and that's it. Some ISBN issuing agency's have their imprint (registered publishing company's name) published on their website which you can copy and fill up that section inside Amazon only if they issued the ISBN. I hope I understood and answered your question properly. Thanks 2 Likes |

5. DESIGNING A BOOK COVER Whether you like it or not, people judge a book by its cover and it would be unthinkable not to because the outside of your book is a taste of what is to come on the inside and most readers think the inside of the book is the same level of quality as the outside of the book. Attributes of A Best Selling Book Cover There are many different ways to create a great book cover, but there are a few rules that should (almost) never be broken. * Topic resonance - Display elements that are congruent with what the book is about. * Title is easy to read - Big, easy to read font, good colour contrast. * Professional aesthetic - Tells the reader there is a high-quality book inside the cover. * Attention-grabbing - This makes you stop scrolling and click on the book to learn more. Book Cover Design Approaches There is no one-size-fits-all way to design a book cover. Here are a few different approaches to creating a book cover that is professional and eye-catching. * Less is more - Empty space is not a bad thing. It brings attention to what is important, that being your title and image. * Vivid image - Using vivid, colourful high quality images is a great way to grab attention. * The title and image play together - This always makes for an interesting, professional looking cover. Instead of going to one cover designer to make one cover for you, go to multiple cover designers to make multiple book cover concepts. Where to Find Book Cover Designers Fiverr.com What to Tell Your Book Cover Designers 1. Title, subtitle, pen name and dimensions of your book cover. 2. Make 2 - 3 different concepts of your book cover. 3. Examples of book covers you like (can be in your niche or not). 4. Send them a stock image if you want or you can tell them to pick one. 5. Give them a general idea of what you are looking for but give them space to be creative. Unique! You will need 3 different cover formats made. 1. Ebook cover - Recommended dimensions are 5.5 x 8.5. 2. Print book cover - 5.5” x 8.5” for paperback. Same as your Ebook cover with a spine and back. 3. Audiobook cover - Dimensions must be 2,400 x 2,400 pixels. 6. LEAD MAGNET A lead magnet (abbreviated term: LM) is a free gift you offer to potential customers to join your email list, thus becoming a subscriber and then a paying customer. As an author, building your platform through a book funnel is a huge reason to write a book. You could be writing a book to grow your business, build an email list of customers invested in your product, or to increase clientele. Your lead magnet is a great way to attract more customers and scale up your business, but you have to know how to build an effective piece of content that people actually want, and then, present it to them when they need it the most. The biggest challenge for many authors and online entrepreneurs is creating the best opt-in gift (lead magnet) that entices potential subscribers (remember, they haven’t signed up yet) into joining your community. A lead magnet is your free gift to your audience and serves as the front door to your world. It adds a taste of professionalism to your branding and shows people that you are serious about communicating with your readers beyond the book. Why You Need A Lead Magnet: *Build an email list from scratch *Grow your current customer base *Establish your author brand *Research your audience *Increase conversion rates and convert readers into subscribers *Provide FREE value to your customers *Provides an opportunity for new subscribers to discover you *Builds your reputation as an authority As an author, you need a lead magnet to build your list so you can continue to sell books years later. This is true if you are writing a nonfiction or a fiction novel. The most common question new authors ask when it comes to creating a lead magnet is: “What can I create that people will want to give away their email address for?” One “secret” strategy: Check out the books in your genre and sign up for their email list. Download the free gift (if they have one) and pay attention to the process you are being asked to walk through. Recreate what you learned from the emails you received and use it as your lead magnet. Components of a strong lead magnet. #1 – Value-packed Your lead magnet is “free gold.” If it is presented with high-quality value, your readers will expect the rest of your content and brand to be the same. Value has to be #1. It is fulfilling a promise and is rich enough that potential subscribers can’t resist. #2 – A Call-to-Action (Only One!) People love to take action. But they often need prompting. This is your chance to get your subscribers to do something and achieve the desired result because of it. Your LM should have a Call To Action (1 specific action) they can take right away. If you have a CTA in your lead magnet, it should help your readers/subscribers to achieve a WIN. #3 – Easy to Access If you downloaded any of the lead magnets from the previous author resources, it should have taken no more than ten seconds and you had access in under one minute. This means no broken links or complicated run-around with multiple links and emails. #4 – Specific & Targeted Did you write a book on gardening for beginners? Your free content should be based on gardening. It adds extended value that does not appear in the book. A good example of a poorly placed lead magnet would be to publish a book on gardening and your free offer is “How to bake a pizza in under ten minutes.” Now that you know the essential components of a lead magnet, it is time to start creating yours. Be sure to have your readers best interest in mind. Inside Amazon Publishing Income Academy, you will see a practical demonstration on how to create a lead magnet for your book(s). Hello reader's, I will be taken a week break from this thread to grieve over the passing of my dad. Just recieved the sad news from my mom this very day (01-22-2022 by 8:40 EST). I'm completely broken. My trip to Nigeria is scheduled for the month of April and I was visiting with my 6 year old son so he can see his grandma and grandpa and vice-versa and this unfortunate incident struck. 3 Likes |

Femolacaster: Thanks with a fountain of tears flowing from my eyes. I can't sleep, it is 11.39 EST over here in Maryland USA and I don't even know what I'm doing. I keep going to the bathroom to secretly shed some tears away from my lovely wife and my smart 6 year old son that will join me in crying once he sees me crying, so I'm hiding away from him not to see daddy's tears. It's really tough but I'm human. 2 Likes |
