I think it's because it hit his body first. Remember 2018 against Argentina.

Chukwueze has to be the biggest disappointment in this tourney ..

It is expected that Moses will be taken out of the game by opponents .. what is Chuks doing? Absolutely nothing..
komekn:

Exactly

Then why is Chukwueze not taking advantage and going forward. ❓

Chukwueze's mum was praying for his legs that means chukwueze will be playing cautiously at the tournament because he doesn't want to get injured.

Eguavoen can't be playing same thing all the time....doesn't work at all....he needs to collapse this wing play..

Moses is choked..

Chukwueze is non existent

And we need to choke them....we creating so much space
Chukwueze has been more impactful in this match than Moses.
Awoniyi is actually non-existent.
Iheanacho should be replaced immediately.
More midfield fortification needed, probably Iwobi in place of Iheanacho.
Aina has been excellent.

The football has been incredibly dry. For the reputation we have built in this tournament, I would have to say we have been flat. I hope other teams don't see this game and think we have been demystified.
Shocking performance so far.

At the end, Sadiq will come in all the criticism will ends up on him.
Nobody is talking about Chukwueze and his abysmal performances.
So far in this tournament, Chukwueze has been the worse player for Nigeria and he shouldn't only be substituted, he shouldn't also play any matches for Nigeria again as far this tournament is concerned.
Rubbish!

Omo, the Carthage eagles have done their homework so far..

The wings have been shutdown.. The tunisians are forcing the game to be played in the middle which is to their strengths ...
