It's how the coach played with only ndidi in the midfield for me

This was the major problem we had.

Why did Onyeka not have more gametime? Our midfield was clearly overrun.

Aribo was almost playing as a defensive midfielder today. Someone that plays as a winger sometimes for his club.

Irrespective of the result I think we should keep Eguavoen. He looks like someone that can learn from mistakes and the football was good despite the costly mistakes we made here and there.

We lost because the coach and the player's UNDERRATED the Tunisian team. Their mentality was weird. I took a lot of stones here while warning about this mentality. But all the same, we move.

You will fly again eagles. Another day.

We lost because of poor goalkeeping...

Nigeria did not under-rate the Tunisian... Its the opposite Nigeria showed the Tunisians too much respect...

For the goalkeeping error, we would have won this match.
Our forwards have also been very wasteful, even in the games we won during the group stage.

Stop put the blame on one player. Your coach is tactically inept.

With Osimhen, you will still play nothing in this game.
Osihmen would have been more impactful than Awoniyi. Awoniyi made us looked one man down even before the red card.

The famous poet Alexandra Michelle once wrote and I quote

“collapse to release,
release to surrender.

surrender to let go,
let go to break down.

break down to fell,
feel deeply to cleanse.

cleanse to be free,
be free to just cry.

crying is cleansing”.

Follow her words and flood here with tears

Like I said, moment if brilliance

They had a player who pulled one out and we did not

That is the difference here

There is something that attitude , desire and determination can do for you that makes you overcome a better team.

We simply did not turn up, the entire first half was very poor we beat ourselves . There was no desire to win .

We lost the game because we did not turn up to WIN it's as if we believed our own hype. I too was affected I even bought into the hype my prediction we win 4-1.

Put aside objectivity and got carried away .

I actually was a bit concerned we had win all our of games against all odds relatively easily. When you have to fight your way from the beginning you don't get complacent.

If we had lost one game before qualifying our heads would not have got so SWOLLEN.

I'm still surprised how Iwobi got the card. He didn't deserve that card.

Going forward, we should scout extensively for goalkeepers. Maybe Tobias, Sebastian Osigwe should be tried. Omo, I'm just annoyed. We talked about having a 3 man midfield, how a 2 man midfield would be overrun by a technical side.

Just rewatched the Gambia vs Tunisia highlights. I noticed nothing much from both sides for large parts of the game. Plus the Tunisian were looking for cheap pk. However their defenders lose concentration alot and that's how the goal came from a cross. If they can be dragged away at ck, the overlapping RB can score. They are poor at Setpieces against them. Nacho can bury one if the chance present itself. We need our first pk in this tournament against them sincerely. No visible strength asides R2-ing the ball well Who sabi fly pass should be in goal. We will easily dominate that Midfield whether any of Iwobi/Nwakali/Aribo starts. Their 433 should be easily broken.

Unfortunately, that's exactly how they got their goal. We didn't exploit their weakness anyway. We didn't. We never did. That Aina-chuks chance shows how poor with crosses they are.
