Hello fellow nairalanders, I submitted my documents on October 2021 to my university for spring 2021
And ever since then I have not gotten my visa uptill today, when I contacted my University they keep saying
That migration has a lot application to deal with but later after some days my school told me that migration
Informed them that they are through with fall Oct 2021 and will be starting for spring semester in first week
Of dec and uptill then migration has not started and school for spring resumes on January 31st.

Whenever I contact my sch they keep saying that migration will soon start and uptill today migration have
not started, I would have said this is a scan of I was using an agent.

And what baffles me most is that my University said they can't be able to tell me when migration is due likely
to start. All they keep saying is that we should keep waiting and this is paining me so much cuz I Neva believed
That migration, uptill this time have not started processing applications for spring and I have already paid half
of my required tuition and visa fees.

Pls anybody in the same situation should say something?

I can't really keep waiting because am loosing my patience and the small money I have for my travel am putting

I applied for family reunion early this January but haven't heard anything till now. I don't even know what to do again but trusting God for good news soon.
I will advise you search for "students in Cyprus" on the search bar and hopefully you'll get some info. Unlike mine that I searched and got the group but no one wished to answer my question. Seems I'm the first woman to do Italy family reunion visa on Nairaland.

I don't know why people hoard information as if they'll die if they share. It's well!

But yours isn't too late since it is this January unlike mine which is getting to 4months now, since October last year. Am really disappointed and getting fed-up, I Neva knew could get to 3months plus now and no sign at all that they will start soon

I’ll advise you chill first until you’re sure they’ve started issuing visas again, else the school will hold your money while you will be here worrying over a situation you can’t help or control, its crazy..

Am guessing you and agent didn't read the memo of the school regarding international students.
I also applies but for us and Canada. My student visa will be ready soon. Cos I choosed may entry and some October entry..

Go to any sch site u want try to get their no to call them or send an email to them they will tell u what to do, u can also hit me up for

Search for schools in south Cyprus and go through their website to decide which one is best for your course and program. You can contact the school for information before you start your application.

Migration never answers their phone, been trying to reach them since last year. That says a lot about the visa delay and the kind of people we’re waiting for to decide, it’s crazy but what to do? We can only give it more time to see the outcome. My school said early February isn’t late, did you try to contact your school again? Maybe they have something new to say this time..

Be patient, it's a general problem.

Which migration are you talking about?
If you are in Lagos, the place to get your passport stamped is apapa. Cyprus embassy.

No I haven't gotten my visa yet. according to university of Nicosia they said all applications are under evaluation, they told me that yesterday. Are u in Cyprus already or are u trying to go to cyprus?

Entry permit is a brownish letter from the migration ministry for those expecting visa.

If all applications are under evaluation; then allow the immigration to check all documents before issuing visa. That's what they meant.

Once they are through, they will issue the entry permit and instruct the embassy in Nigeria to give you visa. Covid is partly the reason for this delay.

Bro, would advice you to look somewhere else ... A small country in shengen area would be better... too many foreigners here , limited jobs, low pay... if you have a backup in Nigeria , fine, but if you dont have ,bro, it wouldn't be easy at all .
However, if you still interested to come, get a backup plan, you can easily migrate from here but u need money to do this ...
