andrewbaba44: You can be unhappy o, the footballers sef, they are not happy. That is why I would rather blame the people that I know are always happy, irrespective of results in tournaments like this; Nigerian politicians. It's Iwobi I really feel for in all these things, it's his own DMs I want to enter, just so I can let him know not to beat himself up, because he will be getting trolled from Nigeria to England. |

My problem is why did we panic and go all out at the 50th minute ? That onrush worn out our players And destabilize the game plan |

safarigirl:Being a realist does not mean that I'd become negative. Professionally one is trained to see loop holes, faults and flaws but balance demands that one does not stay negative. It's the mindset I want to understand, you come in when we lose and have a good laugh. Then stay away when we win. It's not the SE that is the target. It is we, fans of the SE whose joy he despises. I like how Icon4s puts it: it is his failure. Kpom 4 Likes |

Nomyth: We clearly would have won the game. So, you can not say what the manager did, did not work. The manager can only make right decisions. The rest is beyond his power. |

Yes brother, i expected the coach to tweak his tactic at the beginning of that second half because the Tunisians were draging the game to suit there purpose and we played into their hands, they were not in a hurry to counter us and had clip all our dangerous outlets and were just waiting for that one opportunity to score and thereafter bring their playbook time wasting and frustrating football to play. Our coach should have yanked kelechi off and push Aribo upfront and bring in Nwakali or onyeaka to shore up the midfield and take over the midfield lost to them at the last quarter of the first half. forgiveness: |

safarigirl: he has to be rushed... we need another pacy striker.. and learn not to bench Aribo, Onyeka and Ndidi that should be our starting midfield with Nwakali, Iwobi, Amoo, Bonke as replacements.. |

codemaniacs: Either ways, the coach messed up big time. Chuks didn’t live up to expectations due to how we played. No support from the midfield. Iheanacho ought to have been doing that but Aribo would have done better if he was allowed to play and Onyeka takes his place in the midfield. The coach is tactically inept. 2 Likes |

If we want to dominate world football let's stop all this emotional immaturity and tantrums we display every time we drop out of a competition, it transcends from fans down to journalists to federation and players... I could hear chidozie awaziem saying "God abeg abeg abeg repeatedly " Moses drop down sulking.. those guys wanted this. One game were stupid refereeing and some ill luck cost a win, we tear everything down, instead of seeking continuity, it wasn't fluke Nigeria won 3 matches.... we have a good plan A in terms of play, now we find a good plan b and c, though we haven't even fully adapted the planA, when we do, African teams will smell thier asses to win us... we would be more lethal with goalscoring chances, and only fluke goals or penalty can get them goals against us. Nigeria will end games with 5-0 , 6-0 wins soon. Watch this space. Drop emotions and do a technical analysis abeg . We have a good team .. continuity is the answer. Leave egwaveon on... 10 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: I wouldn't say the coach is tactically inept. More like the coach did not recognize when his tactics expired and when he needed to change up things here and there. He got a good tactic, but he was too rigid with him and the Tunisians capitalized on it to bite us. 1 Like |

semid4lyfe:Ppp Oga, when exactly is he going to learn? He has been there before remember? I'm not bitter that we lost, I'm just disappointed that our coach cannot come up with something to turn the game. Wait till u see how ordinary these Tunisians will look in their next game. Watching our first 3 games, u always knew that when our wingers are cut off, then we become ineffective. One would have tot that the coach had a different plan in his locker but it turned he didn't. |

They said we don't need Victor Moses, that all our wingers are better than him. Some say he's proud and lacks commitment. They said we don't need Odion Ighalo, that all our strikers are better than him. That he's old and should have never come out of retirement. Some said we don't need Dessers, that he's a broiler and not suited for African football. Someone on Twitter told Dennis that Ekong would come back with the winners medal and he would have none. Some even celebrated his recent shortcomings. Nigerians, I hail una. Let us enjoy our defeat. |

forgiveness: Chuks is a winger so he doesn't really need support from the midfield he needs support from the fullback playing his wing but Nigeria was more focused on Moses Simon wing instead of using both wings and Chuks was playing like the fullback today... |

Mujtahida: Who limped? Is it Ekong or Omeruo? Is it Sanusi that was up and down the field? Definitely not Aina. He put in a mad shift today. I am sure you are not talking about Ndidi. He was a monster workhorse today. Is it Awoniy that was covering right and left of the field? Is it Iheanacho that the Tunisians even had to go physical. He was up and down the field. I know you are not talking of Simon. We can not debate how had he worked today. Aribo. Come on. He gave his all. Is it Olayinka or Sadiq? Definitely not. What of Chukwueze? He tried now. So how did we limp when these guys gave us full energy. |
