But what I don't understand is how to add my passport number, as per the payment instruction that was sent to me.

Can I just do a mobile app transfer to the account?
Yes you can, after the transfer, download the receipt and print it out. On the day of medicals take it along to show evidence of payment

Yh! So I should write mine by the side?

Don't write your name by the side. Write it below, in the applicant's section.

If they have only 12minutes to make decision, how come do you see someone eligibility review going on for weeks?

And sometimes they will and have not asked for any additional document.

You will have to read the post again sir. There's a place application complexity was mentioned.

Please house, what are the typical documents needed from a sponsor.

I have read alot from other members but some are just many, so I truly need the mandatory ones.

Thanks in advance.

Bank statements (MBS if sponsor is from Nigeria)
Bank reference (not sure if this is mandatory, but I think it helps)
Letter from sponsor stating willingness to support you financially
Employment letter or business Doc to show source of fund

is it a futile effort applying for visa when one is not occupied with a job ?

Make sure you use a blue pen (biro) to sign. Do not use black.

You should have even typed your details in the Applicant section before printing. If the business centre is not far, please download another consent form, type your details (name, etc) before you print.

This I can’t answer.

But there was a guy that shared his testimony here sometime in December. He got his PPR, he had no job or employment history and just 40k in his account. Though he was not self-sponsored.

Hello Gustav25,

Do you mean at the moment you don't have a job or you have never worked before? Before you choose a course, you need to consider if it is a career or academic progression. So, if not career progression, then you need to consider academic progression then. But it doesn't mean you can't do a career change. So with a well-detailed and explained Purpose of the study and Why the course, you're good to go. But even if you want to change course or career, you must show and prove to the VO that you have nursed the dream long ago by showing proof of what you have done and or doing that in line with the new course you want to go for.

Again, when did you finish your first degree?

MBS means my bank statement. It’s like a more secure digital form of Nigerian bank statements. Instead of submitting scanned pages of bank statements you’ll just upload a slip with a ticket number and with that ticket number the Visa officer would be able to access your bank statement for the period of time you specified.

If your sponsor is using a non-Nigerian bank statement then it’s just the regular bank statement pages you’ll scan and submit.

Land documents are usually used for proof of home ties.

But ppl may just add it to their sponsors assets to show more financial backup. I don’t think it’s necessary

Currently there is one that expires by march 2022 that allows from visitor visa to work permit. But you will need to find an employer with an approved LMIA to hire you.

Thank you. Please is there a link to the news or how can I find it in IRCC website.

Okay. Thanks very much, 2 of the sponsors are my siblings while the 3rd is my wife who is already a permanent resident in Canada. However, I am having doubts about using my wife, since they may see it as against the home tie policy. Please further advise me on this.

It will be hard for you to get any temporary visa because your wife is a PR in Canada. It is easy to interpret your temporary visa application as a means to unite with your spouse. Your wife should file (submit spousal sponsorship) for you. It is straightforward and easy. No need for POF and those shit. Current Application processing time takes about 8 months to 1 year. My reply comes from my personal and many friends experiences. All the best.

Hi Osemigho,

What makes an application simple?

I’ve already submitted mine, just trying to judge if I’ll classify mine as simple or complex

No. A fresh and single graduate going for Msc with full scholarship will likely get a student visa. Most often than not, those that say they don't have a job are think job must be paid and be from a big or multinational organization. Most Nigerian disregard their work in their parent or family unregistered shop or company as job. Volunteering in any non-criminal organization (church, mosque, local initiatives, etc) is also a job.

Hey school mate smiley
Proceed with the last year document you have, attach it to your LOA to make one document

UNB doesn’t require any deposit unless you want to pay in something, whatever you pay just include the receipt (which you can download from your student portal) to your application

flossboss:
Hello All,

Please I need help or clarification on how to proceed in case someone has experienced something similar. I go admission into an MSC 1 year program in University of New Brunswick for Fall 2022 and I have already received an unconditional admission letter. I noticed the admission letter does not contain the tuition fees(research for fees from last year showed it was about 20K CAD and I guess this year wont be too far from this). I reached out to the school and was told the fees for fall 2022 is not out yet and will be made available in May but I can still proceed to make some sort of payment because the fees will usually not be higher than 5% of the previous year.

Now my issue is this according to the IRCC site my admission letter should have my tuition fees stated which was not stated in the admission letter provided by the school. Will this be a problem if proceed to submit it with proof I have paid the fees even when the amount was not stated? I don't want to wait till May because of the delays with IRCC, I want to send in my student visa application first week in February.

Note: I know some schools require payment of some deposit/acceptance fee before an unconditional admission letter is issued but apparently UNB does not do that.

Thanks much
